Kari looked at Daichi. "I don't think Lukya will ever get really mad for you to fear, Daichi, that is unless someone mocks and taunts her status as Maester or her people."

 

Daichi thought back to the times he had seen Lukya truly mad..
"If anyone does that... they'll have to deal with me personally..."

He knelt down, having found a fiends tracks. He ran a hand over them gently.
"Guys... there is something that's been bugging me for a long while..." he told them suddenly.

 

"What?" Dean asked, he wasn't like a Ranger who could read footprints and follow the steps, no he was a more straight ahead person who focused on the task before him, sure, he jumped headfirst into danger but he knew what he was doing, he did get into a dangerous situation with a monster and used a shovel to kill lesser monsters but the large one? well, thatwa sthe day his precious Black Fenrir died, bacj then he was childish but a she travelled, he matured into a young man, learning about theways of the world.

"I never did saythat other line for a while, heh, maybe I'll do it when we beat Sin." He thought to himself.

 

Daichi stood up.
He hesitated and thought back...
"I figure... you guys would know... considering Rikku and Ryo..."
He paused... the first time he had a true idea of this was back in Macalania woods, but it was only because of what Tidus had joked about before.
"Me and Lukya... I... well..." he blushed hard.
"I'm not sure what's going on between us.." he admitted.
"I've not exactly had a normal upbringing... so I have no idea about these sorta things..."
There, he had said it.

 

Dean blinked and he left a bit of a chuckle. "Don't worry, I was the same on my first adventure, I honestly don't have a true answer here so I'm just going with what I think, but..." Dean crossed his arms. "You two hold each other more dearly than you first realize and developed affections despite being different races and may become soemthing Spira didn't foresee for the longest time."

Dean palced his hands at his sides and on his hips, continuing. "Just almost like how Yuna's dad was ecept, AL Bhed and Humans are surprisingly similar in outside looks apartfrom the notable swirl in their eyes or the body structure slight, but a Guado a Ronso could be something the people could be against or never occured to imagine, some yevonites may call it whatever they want but if your feelings are true, whose to care what they say?" Dean said and took a breather,

"But I think Spira could change for the better with Yevon guiding everyone ona path, they shut the people's eyes, clogged up their ears, not seeing the true picture, when yevon's true nature is eposedm the people would probably refuse to believe it ever occured, we accept what we call reality but if something we really wished for hppens in front of us, we ignore it as if it's out of the corne rof your eye, you know it's there but you don't want to know."

 

"Dean's right, Daichi. I think it's time you guys knew my history. My mother was a human summoner who got wounded on her pilgrimage, some Al Bhed came and kidnapped her, my father among them. They fell in love and got married, then they were expecting me. However, while testing out some machina one day, my father was killed. My mother went into labor when she heard the news, Cid told me she lived long enough to hold me and give me my name." Kari sighed. "I went on several solo mission to discover what I know now, but I knew I could never become a summoner like my mother."

"Everyone has a history they'd not want to share." Dean said calmly, he knew what he meant by those words too.

 

Daichi was silent as he contemplated what they had told him.
"You're both right of course..." he sighed and thought more..
"I care greatly for Lukya... that's what I do know...
I'm still not sure what it means... but thank you. Both of you." Daichi told them.

 

"Lukya may not show it at times, but she cares for you a lot more than you think. I'm sure before she came running back to us, she was thinking about you the whole time." Kari said, smiling. "I mean, you had the most faith in her during her trial at Baaj Temple out all of us."

 

Dean rubbed his white hair, he knew what was to come after everyone gotten their Celestial Weapons, go straight to the front door of Yevon and get answers from Mika abot Yu Yevon, juding from Skieth's silence within him, it was veyr quiet about that topic.

Little did Dean know, Yu Yevon's existence held another purpose for him, what, well, it was a hidden truth and would onyl reveal itself when Mika told them of what Sin truly was and from there, a problem would arise instantly.

 

Daichi also smiled a little. "While she was gone... I was so worried, I couldn't stop thinking about her... but I had no idea why..."
Daichi paused...
"I just... in the temple... I knew she would do it. I can't really explain it.."

 

Kari smiled. "Well, enough talking, more hunting, people!" She followed the fiend's tracks.

 

Daichi also followed.
He stopped suddenly...
"It's close..."
He sniffed the air.

 

Kari nodded and gripped her claw.

 

Dean's hand twitched and he blinked at the sheer size of the monster they followed, who wa sit you asked, oh nothing but your average Malboros and Dean did one thing, he held his nose and what did he say? "Thsi guys needs tons of mints." He said, obivously doign two thigns, one, insulting the creature and two, he wanted to say it.

 

Kari smiled, "Well, it's a fiend and we're gonna capture it. I really wanna that prize as a gift for Yuna!"

 

Daichi didn't even pull out his weapons, he just walked forwards.
"Let's do it."
There was no need to use Lancet on the Malboro since he had learnt bad breath from his fight with Biran and Yenke.
He decided he would give the Malboro a taste of it's own medicine.
Daichi accessed his Ronso rage abilities and used Bad Breath on it.

 

Kari slashed at it, the weapon she was currently using had the ability to capture fiends. With a smile, Kari looked around. "Alright, who's next?!"

 

"Wait...how many do we have to capture or rather, YOU have to capture and we weaken it?" Dean asked as he waved away the smell with his hands, he never experienced a smell as bad as this before, boy wa she glad he didn't fight that.....thing on a regular basis.

 

"Sounds like capturing nine monsters is too hard for you, Dean." Kari said, smiling.
