Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Daichi looked at the staff Kari held.
"...I'm sure Yuna will love it." he told her.

 

Kari nodded and shouted at the others as they neared. Lukya nodded and smiled, turning to Kari.

 

"well you sure took your sweet old time" Ryo said as he watched Kari running up to them

 

Daichi walked from behind Kari, Lukya caught his eye, and he blushed slightly... remembering his earlier conversation with Dean and Kari.

Man up Daichi! You were never like this before! his mind roared at him.

 

"Shut it, Ryo." Kari said. "Like it would be easy finding nine monsters in this big area. Here, Yuna." Kari gave her the staff, Yuna held it and smiled. "Thank you, Kari. It's great!"

 

Ryo closed his eyes and smirked "heh while you three were gallivanting around we thought of plan to confront Sin" Ryo said. He was about to cross his arm but after realizing his missing arm Ryo opened his eyes and looke over where his left arm used to be and sighed

 

Daichi had a thought, after seeing Ryo's sigh.
"You know what Ryo?... Once we beat Sin and it becomes known that Machina isn't bad, You can always have a Machina arm crafted and attached for you. he suggested.

 

"Oh?" Dean asked and Tidus nodded. "The Hymn of the Fayth oughta do it!" he said in response and Dean blinked. "...That's a very insane idea." He said, it was true, music stops Sin? Then again, you never know until you try.

 

Ryo stared at the arm and smiled "you know what...that doesn't sound half bad. I have never been a hater of Machina. In fact my brother always found interest in it. He taught me some Al Bhed" Ryo said with a smile

 

"I'm sure Kari and Rikku would help you out too, right girls?" he said to them.

He had never hated Machina either, he had never followed Yevon to begin with...
the whole thing with the blitzball arena had been a dead give away... that and Daichi believed 'how can a piece of Machina be bad? surely it was up to who held it'.

 

"Well, I suppose we should give it a shot but how can we make everyone in Spira believe it will work?" Dean asked and Tidus hung his head. "That's true, no-one will listen to us." Tidus pouted.

 

"Sure, we'll help Ryo out. We won't want to disappoint Kari!" Rikku smiled, Kari sighed and shook her head, not surprised Ryo had a brother and saw Tidus pout, "The people might not listen to us but they will listen to a Maester, right, Lukya?" She looked at Lukya, she gasped and shook her head.

"No, I don't think they will. Think about it, I ran away from Yevon while as a Maester, I would be considered like the rest of you, a traitor, only with Maester status. Besides, I'm already struggling with the fact I'm leader of a race the people hate because of Seymour. I doubt they will even listen to me."

 

"then we shall speak to Mika. He knows about this Yu Yevon so we might as well force him to help us" Ryo said

 

Kari waved at the airship and got on board, Rikku, Yuna, and the others followed. Lukya looked at Daichi and smiled, getting on board with the others.

This really was it..
It was the beginning of the end.
Once they got their answers from Mika, they would be able to defeat Sin... once... and for all.

 

Lukya looked at the sky as she held her Maester robe, she sighed. Kari looked at her and smiled.

 

Ryo leaned against a wall and sighed "one the battle ends...what next?" Ryo asked himself

 

Ryo might have been asking himself. But Daichi still chose to answer.
His tone had switched back to his original quiet one.
"...What's next, is whatever you want there to be."

 

"We go our separate ways, I guess. Once Machina is no longer considered bad, Rikku and I plan on finding and salvaging ancient machina and teach the people about them." Kari said, Lukya thought about it. "I'll try to govern my people from Guadosalam and I want Daichi to be by my side."

 

Daichi looked at Lukya for a second and then gave a single nod.
As he had said before... he wouldn't want things any other way anyway.
