Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"If I am still around after this whole mess, I'd like to meet him one day." Kari said.

 

Ryo closed his eyes "if you go then I will as well" Ryo said

 

Kari sighed and looked out the window.

 

Ryo looked over at Kari. If she disappeared then he was ready to die

 

Kari sighed and began to sing the Hymn of the Fayth.

 

Ryo closed his eyes and listened "are you...scared?" Ryo suddenly said

 

"Scared of what? Disappearing and not seeing my family and friends again?" Kari asked.

 

Ryo nodded calmly

 

"A little. But if I do disappear, the only thing I won't regret is traveling with Yuna and the others. And meeting you." Kari smiled, thinking about the pilgrimage.

It took Daichi a few seconds to register the significance of what she had just said to him.
He had said to Kari and Dean in the calm lands that he was unsure about how Lukya felt about him... but now... well... he guessed that he didn't have to worry after all.
His face probably started off with a bit of a blush at first, but then a look of calm and contentment came onto it. He walked into the room more, his arms still folded.
"You... really feel that way?" This wasn't a direct question to her...
he was almost asking fate.
"...Us together.." he said in wonder... then his voice became firm and confident.
"What your brother did is separate from you. Completely separate... Regardless... I care for you too. A lot..." he told her honestly.
"Kari has nothing to worry about... I don't care if all of Spira didn't approve of us being together... If people have a problem, then they'll have to deal with me.. I'll be sure to protect you no matter what..."
He paused before he spoke the next part.
"When we meet Seymour again... We will both tell him how much we care for eachother."

 

"I'm...terrified" Ryo said holding his head with his hand

 

Lukya smiled, "Yes. I know you will be there for me." She walked up to him and hugged him.

Kari sighed and turned to him. "It will be alright. But I'm sure Yuna feels the same way. Who knows what's going to happen when the Fayth disappears?"

 

"but still..to know that you might leave this world and disappear. To know that I might be the one to send you away...its unbearable" Ryo said tighting his grip on his head and closed his eyes tightly in frustration

 

Kari was silent and sighed, "I know. Ryo, how do you think I feel? That I might no longer be with the people who I grew up with? The thought scares me to the core."

 

Daichi wrapped his arms around her, embracing her small form as she hugged him.
He also smiled. Part of him just wished that they could stay in this moment forever...
Of course... once they beat Sin, he was sure there would be many more happy things to come.

 

Ryo clenched his fist and punched the near by wall "damn it all" Ryo yelled. The truth was he blamed himself for this as he didn't prevent Kari from the final aeon process

 

Kari sighed, and hoped that she wouldn't disappear once Sin was defeated. Spira held too many fond memories of her and she didn't want to go.

Lukya held him close and smiled.

 

Ryo calmed down and leaned against the wall once more "its my responsibility as the summoner of the final Aeon...as your summoner to die" Ryo said

 

"Don't be crazy. You will live after this, and so will I. I just have a feeling that we both will live after this." Kari said.

 

Ryo looked over at her "you best not get possessed by Yu Yevon. Or I will beat the crap out of you to get him out" Ryo said with a smirk
