Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Dean had himself against a hallway wall, leaning upong it, it was truly a scary thought, woudl he die or disappear? Skieth was his shadow despite being an a Aeon and he was afraid of what happens. "Heh... still shows I'm human." He thought to himself as he looked at his open hand.

"...What am I to do? Walk up to Rikku and say 'hey Rikku, I'm gonna either die or disappear since I hold an Aeon and have the chance of getting controlled by Yu Yevon to perhaps destroy everyone else and became a new Sin?" Dean said and punched the wall, not denting it at all, it was truly a frightful prosect and frustating at the same time as he would not want to worry anyone, Tidus fading away or Kari being in a similar situation as him was already sad enough. "Damnit!" He said in frustation, he was finally happy he gotten his memories and and found someone to love again but now, this just screws his future plans.

Dean remained still and silent, nov moving as he was in deep thought, there truly seemed to be no way out for this situation, they saved Yuna's life but now, three more lvies are in danger and if they do not defeat Sin, many more will be lost, what a cruel truth, if fate was a person, he must be in a very bad mood.

 

Daichi was happy holding Lukya, but he couldn't help bit sigh a little for the others either...
He was worried... although he tried not to show it.
It was a weird moment for him... Feeling so happy and yet so worried at the same time...
This had been a weird journey full of firsts...
Dean, Kari and Tidus were all good friends... they had helped him with so much.. he just wished there was something he could do...

 

"We will both show Yu Yevon that this half Al Bhed is not someone to mess with." Kari said, smiling.

"To tell the truth, I'm scared....... I'm scared that we might not see Kari, Tidus, or Dean again......... Each one of them, especially Kari, are important to the team." Lukya said.

 

"I was just thinking the same thing..." Daichi told her.
"Listen... we did the impossible... we found a way to beat Sin and end the cycle, we can do the same again and save the others too...
Auron is always going on about our 'Stories' right?
...Well, If anyone disappears... We'll just have to write a new chapter... a chapter of us dragging them back from wherever the hell they disappear to." he said firmly.

 

"Yeah........ As Yuna said, Kari is the fighting spirit behind Team Besaid." Lukya said, smiling when Kari first declared the team name.

 

Dena punched the wall again in frustation and he had his eyes closed. "...What would they do at this point? What would they do!? Dean thought to himself and breathed deeply. "This could be the last time I see Rikku... It would be better to not tell her but... she'd be heartbroken if I don't tell her." Dean thought and come to a descion. "...I better pray she doesn't get ticked off." He said and soon found Rikku.

"Hey." He said.

 

"Hey, Dean." Rikku smiled, unaware for the news she was about to hear.

 

Dean breathed a bit, when eh saw Rikku's face showing her usual upbeta self, it tore his heart to see it change. "Rikku, you remember Mika saying he uses the Final Aeon to create a new Sin?" He asked her, being very calm and keeping his emotions in control.

 

"Yeah, I'm really worried about Kari because that!" Rikku said.

 

Dean rubbed his forehead a bit, this sentence will probably make Rikku change completely. "All Yu Yevon needs is an Aeon to create a Sin, it could use Kari or... myself." Dean said calmly.

 

Rikku was completely silent, she stared at Dean, not able to say about that.

 

"My Aeon lives within me unlike Kari's own, there is a chance that I might..." Dean looked as his open hand. "disappear or worse, die, I don't know what will happen..." He clenched his hand, forming a fist at the thought of what may happen.

 

Taking a step forward, Rikku grabbed his shirt and leaned forward, placing a kiss on his lips. She closed her eyes and a tear ran down her face.

 

Dean's eyes widened in response of what just happened a she felt Rikku's soft lips upon his own as his face became red as chilli pepper and closed his eyes as he wrapped his arms around her, screw it if anyoen saw them right now, he wouldn't care at all. "...She tastes sweet." He thought, if he were a Yevonite, he'd think "Sweet Holy Yevon, this is good!"

 

Rikku put her arms around his neck and held him close.

 

Dean knew the moment would not last long but hell, a man can dream and wish for it, he didn't care anyway, this moment is probably the best he felt in his life...well, his idol Nightburn came second.

 

"...It's unbearable though... I can't imagine how it would be if one of them went... even if only for a bit... Yuna, Rikku, Ryo... how would they feel...
I don't know how I would feel if something happened to you..."
Daichi clenched a fist tightly. "...No. I won't let it happen. Never... I promised the pain and sadness will stop. I intend to make good on that promise.
I'll protect you and I'll protect them."

 

Lukya smiled and nodded.

Rikku pulled back and smiled. "There's your first, and maybe your last, kiss from a Al Bhed."

 

Dean looked at into Rikku's eyes. "Hey, I'll treasure that first kiss, after all, it must of been yours too." Dean said to her with a smile.

 

Rikku smiled and hugged him.
