Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Oui pad cra femm........" Kari whispered softly, as she and Rikku turned to the group. Everyone, exluding Dean, had a look of surprise. Lukya stared at them.

 

"What did you say to them?" Tidus asked.

 

Daichi wasn't surprised... he had been able to discern they were Al-Bhed back from when he had first seen them.
It was all in their eyes if people looked close enough, but of course, reading people was one of the things Daichi was good at.

"He says that Rikku does this alone......" Kari said, seeming a less cheerful at usual. Rikku looked at her and sighed.

 

"How come you speak Al Bhed? Why?" Wakka asked the girls and looked at Tidus and lulu and Dean who was unfazed by this.

 

"Well, you see........" Rikku began to speak, but Kari spoke for her, "Rikku and I are Al Bhed. Actually, I am only half Al Bhed, but I grew up around Al Bhed people, learning their language and their ways. Believe it or not, Wakka, you're looking at one of the best players on the Al Bhed Psychs. You don't know how hard it was for me to hide this fact. But here's something you should know, Yuna's part Al Bhed, too. But there's someone you should hate, it's me." Rikku looked at her in surprise.

 

Daichi just simply kept his arms crossed the whole time and listened to the conversation with an outside perspective.
He had to say that Kari had some guts stepping up and speaking the truth like that. It was... respectable.

 

"This is great. I can't believe I've been travelling with an Al Bhed! A heathen! You Al Bhed use the forbidden machina! You know what that means? Sin was born because people used machina!"
" Wakka said and he fell the floor as Dean punched him. eyes anrgy.

"I have had it with you! I restrain myself everytime you go all Yevon on us! Sure these girls have Al Bhed blood in them but I'll accept them as friends over you Yevonites anyday! I use machina too but that doesn't mean Sin's going to come up and claim my life, if you can't get through your think boneheaded skull Wakka, I'll personally show you how much you hurt their hearts and feelings and trust me, what I did to Donna and Barthello is nothing compared to it!"

Wakka got up and walked in the direction of the temple.

"Leave him, he needs time to think." Lulu said.

 

Yuna walked up to them and smiled. Kari smiled and lightly cried, Lukya smiled, shedding some tears as well. The rest of them walked to the temple.

 

Daichi walked over to Dean. "You sure like to punch people don't you?"
He turned away... "...Don't get me wrong... I think you were justified to get angry... these girls are good, Al Bhed or not... they've proven that fact." He said while gesturing to the two girls.
"I don't know what Wakka's story is... but... he doesn't seem like much of a bad guy either... I can tell that much... he just seems hurt." he continued in his usual quiet tone.

 

Dean looked at Daichi. "It's only what I do on instinct." He said as a gaurd spoke. "Halt! Her kind aren't allowed here." he said, refering to Rikku as Dean was tempted to punch this guy.

 

Daichi stood near Dean, partially in front of him to stay between him and the guard.
"I know what it is to follow one's instincts... but... You know that punching him now will accomplish nothing." he whispered.

 

"You are not letting in a pair of Guardians." Lukya said, walking up. "Judging people based on race shouldn't mean anything. Why is it that you treat my brother, who is half Guado and half human, fairly, but not these girls, who are Al Bhed? These girls are with the Summoner, thus her guardians. Please, let us pass."

 

"But it's preposterous!" The guard countered.

 

"I'm sure you are aware of who this girl is?
The sister of Maester Seymour... I'm sure he'll be disappointed to hear that you have ignored his sister's wishes..." Daichi told the guard with a cold tone and an intimidating glare, his arms folded.

 

"very well" The guard said as he allowed the group to pass "but be warned of the Al Bhed. It was announced that Summoner Ryo was recently killed by them" the guard said

 

Dean's eyes suddenly narrowed. "That guy killed by the Al Bhed...highly unlikely, he's both a Summoner and a Guardian to himself." Dean thought as the group proceeded inwards as Seymour stood at the top of the stairs to the Cloister of Trials. "Ah, welcome Lady Yuna and her Guardians, I assume you've come for your answer and the Fayth that resides here, please Lady Yuna, come with me to the Chamber so that we may discuss what it is you have in mind...Your Guardians shall have to remain here." Seymour stated and Dean stood there.

"That's bull, since when has Guardians been told to stay away from the Chamber? Seymour's up to something and I don't like it." Dean thought, he didn't know what anyone else thought abotu the guy but he'd have to guess Yuna would respect the Maester's wishes.

 

Daichi again whispered to Dean."As far as I know... the Al-Bhed were kidnapping the summoners... but none have turned up dead before now... Something doesn't seem right..." he paused... "but... I'm sure you've noticed that already... I think most of the others have too." he mentioned, giving a quick glance to the others.
The idea of Yuna being separated from the Guardians also bothered Daichi.
Not that he was a Guardian, meaning that he wouldn't be able to enter the trials... but... the idea of Yuna being alone with Seymour, while the others were out here... it made him feel extremely uncomfortable... also, that feeling of danger and morbidness hadn't left him in all this time. At first he thought it might have been the Al-Bhed attack on lake-Macalania... but the feeling had persisted even after then...
Too many things here didn't add up.

 

Lukya sighed as Yuna nodded and entered the Chamber with Seymour. Kari shook and wondered what was going to happen.

 

Seymour smiled as they enetered the chamber and Dean suddenly felt a bad vibe taking over him as the doors opened, revealing a certain Maester. "Ah, Dean." Kazuhiro said as he approached the group as Dean turned around. "What you doing here?" He asked and Kazuhiro looked at him.

"Just business, all Maesters visit the temples regularly to encourge the monks that reside within them and the work that comes with the role...where is your Summoner?" Kazuhiro asked, notcing the group.
