Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Lukya gave a small smile, showing Daichi that she was doing alright. Kari tossed a blitzball at a aerial fiend, while Rikku took care of the ground fiend, "The Summoners' Sanctum should be just ahead!" Lukya simply hoped that Yuna was there.

 

"I know it doesn't mean much.. but, if you ever feel you need someone to talk to... well... I'm here... he said trailing off.
He had started to get use to the whole conversation thing, but showing compassion wasn't that easy when he hadn't shown any to anyone in ten years.
He looked around. All of the dead... the injured... the suffering here was too great.
Suffering was the truth that he knew all too well about Spira...
Whether it was Sin causing it... or someone else...
He hated it, He hated the Ronso... (although, he was surprisingly unsure about Kimahri.)
He hated Sin... the causes of his suffering.
And now... two of his new friends were running through their own home... a home now covered in blood, and filled with pain..
Lukya was suffering too...
What is this world coming to? ...
It's bad enough that Sin causes suffering... but, to have others cause this much pain to each other...
Daichi clenched his fists around his weapons... Unforgivable...

He would bring change to this world. So that people like Lukya, Kari, Rikku... his sister... him... anyone...
wouldn't have to suffer like this anymore.

 

The group reached the heart of Home, but Yuna was still nowhere in sight. Kari sighed and looked around, when a familiar voice to her and Rikku shouted at the group, "Kari, Rikku, get your butts in gear and get out of here!"

"No way...... Cid!" Kari shouted, looking at the airship that Tidus helped unearth floating above them.

 

"The hell is that thing?" Dean said before shooting down an aerial fiend as Tidus looked around. "Get us to that sanctum!" Tidus said as Wakka saw the causes. "Damn those Guado..." Wakka threw his blitzball again while Lulu cast her magic and Kimarhi piercing through fiends.

Dean saw a Guado it about to summon more fiends as he ran at him. "Don't think so!" He pulled back his fist, gun still in hand and rammed it straight into the Guado's stomach, forcing the air out of his lung and hit the wall.

 

Daichi continued following the others around him, keeping silent.
Out of the corner of his eye, he he saw a young Al-Bhed girl, probably just a little younger than Kari and Rikku and a young child cornered by two Guado. Cowering in fear, the girl shielded the crying boy.
They would even harm children... Daichi thought... his anger overwhelmed him as memories of his dead sister, only a child herself came flowing through him.
Yuna's the priority... but I can't just do nothing... I'm sure she wouldn't approve if I didn't.
He separated from the group and went after the two Guado.
He moved faster than he had ever before. He wasn't going to let these two kids die.
He was in front of them instantly, crossing his swords in front of himself just as one of the Guado cast a Thundara spell at them.
Daichi took the full force of the spell. He immediately rushed forwards impaled the first Guado with both of his swords, spun round and grabbed the second Guado by his face.
Daichi lifted the flailing Guado up and with full force he rammed the Guado's head into a wall.
His anger subsiding, he dropped the enemy and went over to the two kids, crouched down and placed comforting hands on the shoulders of both the girl and the boy.
"It's okay now." He said smiling at them, the compassion now coming easily. The two looked up at him, the young Al-Bhed boy with shining tears on his face.
"I want you two to run as fast as you can to the Airship thing okay? You'll be safe there. The route looks clear for now, so go while you can."
The girl said something in Al-Bhed, bowing her head and looking very grateful, but she then also said it in English "Thank you" She said bowing her head again.
She took the boys hand and ran in the direction of the Airship.
Daichi stood straight and pulled his two swords out of the dead Guado.
He looked around again at the destruction around him, and then at the backs of the two disappearing kids.
"...Stay safe, look after each other... live." he said quietly to nobody..
He took off running to catch up with the other Guardians.

 

"Wakka, behind you!" Kari shouted, jumping up and tossing her blitzball at a fiend who was about to attack him from behind, then landed behind him. "Hope you don't mind a Al Bhed guarding your back. After we're guardians, and like Kimarhi said, guardians aid each other."

Rikku saw a Guado grab Lukya's wrist and groaned, she shouted while doing a somersault, "Get your hands after Lukya!" She sliced at him with her arms, she turned to Lukya, "You okay?" Lukya nodded, Kari shouted in Al Bhed, "Cid, Brother, pnehk Lukya ypuynt dra yencreb! Cra ec y Guado! Rikku yht E femm aqbmyeh ajanodrehk mydan! Nekrd huf, zicd yllabd ran!" Lukya followed the children to the airship.

 

Tidus looked at Rikku. "Where's Yuna!?" he asked her.

 

Kari and Rikku looked around. "Looks like she isn't here." Kari whispered, Rikku groaned, "Where could she be?"

 

"... I hate to say it... but could it be the Guado got her? ...
after all... she has been branded a traitor, if they did get to her first, they would have apprehended her the moment they found her..." Daichi said quietly...
He hoped with every fibre of his being that this wasn't the case.

 

"T-Then...what do we do?" Tidus asked as Dean fired another bullet. "We get to that airship that's what, I already noticed Issaru and Donna getting on board that thing." He said and Tidus looked at him. "Then let's go find her and get her! Yuna's the hope for Spira right!?" he asked ad Wakka and Lulu remained silent.

"Right?!" Tidus asked, seeing somethign was wrong as Dean spoke. "Seeing that Wakka and Lulu are gonna keep quiet about this, I might as well tell you while Yuna isn't around." He said "Dude, Don;t!" Wakka said

Tidus was confused. "What?" Tidus asked and Dean reloaded his guns. "Summoners journey to Zanarkand to obtain the Final Aeon." He shot another fiend coming his way. "I also know why the Al Bhed kidnapped the Summoners, to stop them from getting there...Because, the Final Aeon does kill Sin but also, the one who summons it." He said as Tidus thought about, The reason why Yuna stared at everywhere they've been, it was to say goodbye to those places.

"And...you guys knew!? Wakka! Lulu! How could you, isn't Yuna like a sister to you!?" He cried otu as the two Guardians stared away. "We didn't mean to hide it ya..." Wakka said and Lulu spoke. "It was just too hard to say..."

"Then Yuna should of said no!" Tidus said and Dean turned his head at Tidus. "Yuna knew the consequences of this trip when she started her training, she chose this path and we can only aid her but...how about instead of greiving of about it now, how about you figure out a way to save her from this fate? Use that as your goal because let me tell you, I'm not sacfricing anybody just so everyone else can be happy, I'll tear down that cycle even if no-one else will try it." Dean said resolved.

 

"Then lets get going!" Kari shouted, running to the airship with Rikku behind.

 

"As will I..." Daichi said standing next to Dean, his arms folded.
"We'll find a way... to break this cycle... save Yuna... and get rid of Sin once and for all...
If you have time to be upset... then you have time to think of a plan. Think of Yuna... she knew all of this when she chose to take this on.
As her Guardians... we are the only ones who can save her." he told Tidus.

 

Tidus ran after them as did Dean and soon, the airship had taken off.

 

Kari sighed and looked around, she looked at Lukya who was trying to hide from the Al Bhed.

 

Daichi stayed close to Lukya, realising what she was trying to do. He stayed put, his arms folded, not speaking a word.
He just simply observed the others.

 

Tidus was at the cockpit. "Where's Yuna damnit!" He asked the guy in charge as Dean watched. "Hey Tidus, no need to get angry at the old man Cid." He said to him.

A bald man walked up to them, Kari and Rikku looked at him. "First things first. We need to destroy Home. uh so luihd!" Kari and Rikku frozen in shock. Lukya looked at them, confused.

 

Dean closed his eyes as the airship firced missiles at the now ruined Home, totally destroying it from the face of thhe ground.

 

Kari walked up to Cid, and slapped him across the face. "Oui'na dra funcd........................" Rikku stared in shock at what happened, Lukya took Daichi's hand, tracing 'What happened? Is Kari alright?'.

 

Daichi closed his eyes and said quietly.
"... Home... over-ran by fiends... is gone. They had to destroy it... it was the only way...
Kari, she's a strong girl... but, losing your home is hard... in time, she'll recover I'm sure,... if anything though, she'll need our support."
He looked at Lukya reassuringly and held her hand slightly. "And we'll be there to give it to her, right?"
