Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"Damn..." Daichi would have prepared to fight, but it would require letting go of the door, and he wasn't sure Kimahri would be able to hold it himself.
It would leave Lukya, Yuna and Tidus trapped.
Yet again... he felt powerless... as always.

 

Lukya stood by Daichi, touching his hand and gripped it. Tidus simply held Yuna in his arms, Kari groaned. "And will Lord Ryo be attending the trial?" She asked, saying his name with disgust.

 

"indeed he shall, he is recommended to become a Maester by Seymour" Kinoc said as the guards led them away

 

Daichi held Lukya's hand too.
He felt her small strength as she gripped it.
They were led away by the guards...
Damn... it's one thing after another...
We'll get out of this... we have too... and when we do... I'm gonna kill Seymour, and Ryo... They have caused enough suffering to my friends. There will be no more...

 

Dean listened quietly, prefering to keep his focus on the events that was happening but when he heard the trial and that it'll be fair. "Highly doubt it..."

Dean found himself in a court room, seeing all of the Maesters. "I'm never one for these things but since all Maesters are required to be here." Kazuhiro spoke as if it was troublesome for him.

"The High Court of Yevon is now in session. The sacred offices of this court seek nothing but absolute truth, in Yevon's name. To those on trial: Believe in Yevon, and speak only the truth... Summoner Yuna, You have sworn to protect the people of Yevon, true?"
" Kelk Ronso asked.

 

"Hmph... Maester Kelk Ronso..." Daichi said to the others under his breath.
Indeed... it was the first time in 10 years Daichi had seen him, but the Leader of the Ronso tribe still looked and spoke the same as he did before.

 

Ryo sighed as he stood next to Seymour "what a waste of time. Lets just punish them now" Ryo muttered

"Yes, your grace. I have sworn to protect the people of Spira." Yuna said from her position. Lukya kept quiet as she watched the trial.

 

"Then, consider: You have inflicted dire injury upon Maester Seymour Guado... conspired with the Al Bhed and joined in their insurrection. These are traitorous and unforgivable crimes that disturb the order of Yevon. Tell this court what possessed you to participate in such violence." Kelk Ronso spoke

"These guys never expand their thougts beyond Yevon do they?" Dean thought, no wonder Yevonites never had much of a fun time.

 

"Those guys can't be serious......" Kari whispered, looking at Lukya. Yuna looked at the Ronso Maester and said, "Your Grace....... The real traitor is Maester Seymour! He killed his and Lukya's father, Jyscal, with his own hands! He hid the truth from his sister!"

 

"What is this!" Kelk ROnso said in disbelief as Seymour was on a platform nearby. "Haven't you heard?" Seymour asked.

 

"Indeed I am one of his murder victims also" Ryo said with a grin. "but it was threw death that Maester Seymour opened my eyes" Ryo said standing next to Seymour

 

"Not only that........" Yuna said, continuing her testament. "But..... Maester Seymour is already dead! Killed by the arrow of his sister, Lukya!"

Lukya took a small step back. Kari shouted, "What? You're an unsent, too, Ryo?!"

 

"Elder Kelk Ronso... You were always fair... so I ask of you to please... try and understand. Yuna is a good person, she would never want to cause harm to Spira... she's willing to give her life for it for crying out loud..." Daichi said, he got onto one knee and bowed his head to the Elder Ronso

 

Ryo looked over at Kari and gave her a little nod with a grin

 

Dean spoke. "Plus, isn't the duty of a Summoner to the dead, call me whatever you want but I believe that is one of the roles that a Summoner has been given." Dean said out loud.

"That is true but shouldn't the dead be given the option of paradise or stay in Spira if he has unfinished business?" kazuhiro asked as Dean stared at him. "You're kidding me..." Dean thought and brought a hand to his forehead.

Kelk Ronso looke ddown upon Daichi, remembering the young boy and his sister. "Guardian, The rules of Yevon must upheld, the consequences must be dealt, if not, disorder would likely occur.

"Then why not send Seymour to the Farplane!?" Dean shouted as Mika approached from behind Kelk. ""Send the unsent to where they belong?" He asked.

 

"Yeah, let Yuna do her job as a summoner, Grand Maester Mika!" Kari shouted. Lukya looked up at Mika, and covered her nose. Rikku looked at her, worried. "You okay?"

"Grand Maester Mika....... You're the same as my brother is now, aren't you?!" Lukya shouted.

 

"Hmm... So that's it... Yevon... built on a foundation of the dead... why am I not surprised..." Daichi said with a foul taste in his mouth.

 

"Indeed I am, I too, am an unsent young Summoner." Mika confirmed "Grand Maester Mika is a wise leader. Even in death, he is invaluable to Spira." Kelk Ronso stated as Kinoc was heard. "Enlightened rule by the dead is preferable to the misguided failures of the living." and finally Seymour."Life is but a passing dream, but the death that follows is eternal."

"Men die. Beasts die. Trees die. Even continents perish. Only the power of death truly commands in Spira. Resisting its power is futile." Mika said and Dean stared and listened at Daichi's words "...Basically, they don't put in any effort and just decide to let nature run it's course with their hands firmly grasped upon it."

 

"But what of Sin?" Yuna asked. "I am a summoner, my lord, like my father before me! I am on a pilgrimage to stop the death that Sin brings. Are you.... are you telling me that, too, is futile? Grand Maester Mika, I am not alone! All the people who opposed Sin...... Their battles, all their sacrifices ---- were they all in vain?"
