Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

"You wanna see if we find that hidden temple in the Calm Lands next?" Kari asked as they walked. Yuna nodded. "Sure!"

 

Dean walkedalongside the others and stopped short, seeing someone stand in the Calm Lands leading to the hidden temple staring at them. "Ah, so this is where Lady Yuna is going, to meet the Sisters now?" He asked as Dean drawn his guns. "Get out of the way!" He said and Kazuhiro just turned around. "I am not turning you over to Yevon, my desire lies elsewhere." he said calmly.

 

"Meaning?" Daichi asked with a scowl, his katanas at the ready.

 

"You're not here for me, then, huh, Kazuhiro?" Lukya asked, surprised to see him while gripping her bow. She had technically run away from Yevon, and she didn't want to return to it.

 

"Over my dead body.." Daichi growled, after Lukya had asked Kazuhiro her question.

 

"My intentions and desires are my own, I am in no way, allied with Yevon's petty desires, I only became a Maester to be granted access to all of Spira without anyone troubling me...Besides, that old man is all alone within Yevon now, that Ronso left for his homeland, perhaps troubled by Seymour's truth of killing your father young woman,"

"You're gonna answer my questions now, What the hell am I? Who am I? Damnit Kazuhiro, I hate being kept in the dark about it!" Dean said frustated and angry.

"I see you've discovered what can happen if you let your emotions control you and your Aeon reacts to it, I shall tell you a little but all of your answers lie in Gagazet, My Corbenik and your Skieth are alive within us, if you let your emotions go out of your control, that Aeon can control you and be relentless, killing all that you declared an enemy and you'd be no more than a puppet to him." Kazuhiro said and Dean's wides widened. "You knew that all along!?" He asked and Kazuhiro spoke.

"You had to experience it and learn of the danger that comes with it." Kazuhiro stated.

 

Rikku ran in front of Dean, "Just leave now, Kazuhiro! I won't let you bother Dean anymore!" Lukya sighed and looked away, she still was troubled by knowing Seymour had killed their father, but didn't show it.

 

Daichi by no means dropped his guard, despite Kazuhiro's claims, as if he would trust him. Kelk Ronso left Yevon... Well, it's true that he was a fair Ronso... I imagine he wouldn't have just stayed put with the knowledge about Seymour.
Kazuhiro gave dean a few answers next... Daichi muttered under his breath; "So... it's just as I thought..."

He was pre-occupied at the time with his thoughts and didn't notice Lukya's little sigh..

 

"Oh, you found a woman willing to protect you? My my, whatever happened to your famous words? What were they? 'You can do anything, as long you don't give up."? Kazuhiro asked him and Dean thought about those words. "You can...do..anything...as long as you don't....give up?" He asked himself, it felt very familar to him as if it stuck with him.

"I shall leave you all to your business and we shall meet again, that I'll promise you all, I shall leave a hint for Lady Yuna out of respect, when you go to the temple, you shall meet somone who already tested you on your journey." Kazuhiro said and walked, his form changing to his Aeon as he leapt away into the sky.

 

Watching him leave, Kari said, "So, each of the Maesters have gone their own ways." "What do you mean, Kari?" Lukya asked, Kari turned to them and said, "Kelk went back to Gagazet, Lukya is here with us, Kazuhiro is seeking something else, and Mika is by himself in Bevelle." Yuna was deep in thought about Kazuhiro's hint.

 

"and don't forget about Seymour..." Daichi said darkly.

 

Kari sighed and nodded, "Right, thanks for reminding me." Lukya held herself and shook, though Yuna thought she saw some tears run down her face.

 

Daichi noticed Lukya shake and looked away in shame...
How tactless and senseless of him to mention that in front of her...
He felt like an idiot... he was sure his face showed it too.

 

"Why do those words sound so natural to me...? Could it be I used to say that line so often before I forgot?" Dean thought to himself, deep in thought as he absently beggan to walk to the temple, eyes watching where he went.

"Dean looks so...distant now." Tidus said without thought.

 

Rikku followed Dean and grabbed his hand. "Dean......." Kari sighed and followed them, "I've never seen Rikku so concerned." Yuna nodded and looked at Lukya. She looked at them and falsely smiled.

 

Daichi would have responded to Tidus... but...
he decided he should keep his mouth shut before he said something else...
He walked after the others who had gone ahead. He didn't know if or how he should apologise to Lukya..

 

Dean heard Rikku and turned his head, his eyes staring at hers, giving off a very distant look. "...What?" He asked her in a very calmful tone.

Tidus ran on ahead with Daichi as Wakka kept quiet and continued.

 

"Are you alright? After that talk with Kazuhiro, you seem different. You see........ I........" Rikku's face suddenly became red. Kari grinned evilly, staring at them. Lukya followed everyone, covering the rear.

 

"...Yeah...it's just so...frustating knowing Kazuhiro knows who I am and I don't have the slightest idea of what or who I am...." Dean said in response and breathed a bit.

 

Daichi saw how Dean was being, and how Rikku was reacting...
Deans so distracted... he doesn't even notice the girl that he likes is now... well... that she now likes him...
Daichi sighed... So, everyone else was sort of a couple now, or had the potential to be..
Potential to be... so... what did that mean for him and Lukya?
Is that what this sudden strange chemistry between the two of them was?
Well... if there had been a chance... he'd probably wrecked it now when he had made his stupid comment anyway.
Oh, how he hated Seymour even more now.
