Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Dean heard Daichi. "That's because I'm not a Summoner by natural means I guess." Dean said and proceeded inwards as Tidus followed suit.

 

"Team Besaid is always prepared for the worst." Kari said, placing her fist in her open palm. Rikku smiled.

 

"lets go" Ryo said as him and the group began to walk but immediately stopped as two women appeared

"If it might benefit the future of Spira, I will gladly give my life. It is the highest honor for which a guardian might ask. Use my life, Lady Yocun, and rid Spira of Sin." one of the women said

"what the?" Ryo said

"Our predecessors." Auron said

"she said Lady Yocun...the very same high summoner Yocun?" Ryo said surprised

"This dome is filled with pyreflies. It's like one gigantic sphere. People's thoughts remain here. Forever." Auron said

 

"Then... that means..." Daichi looked at Auron.
He stopped himself from saying anything more.
... he could tell...
He would see what happened to the three after they had saved him on Gagazet.
Tidus and Yuna would see their father's...
Auron would see ghosts of the past.

 

Lukya looked around, amazed at the pyreflies and heard Auron's words. Kari looked around with Rikku, Yuna wasn't sure what to feel, she could finally see what happened to her father.

 

"Let's hurry on, I'm sure the less memories we see here, the better." Dean said as he continued on and saw someone pass him, but three people. "The hell?" He said and saw them and gave a bit of a surprised look. "You looked better younger Auron." Dean commented.

 

"Father!" Yuna shouted, recognizing one of the figures. Rikku looked in surprise, Kari looked at him. "So that's Yuna's father............" Lukya looked at him.

 

"It's definitely them... well... memories of them.
I'd never forget their faces... 10 years ago..."

 

"Hey, Braska. You don't have to do this." Said the image of Jecht

"Thank you for your concern." the image braska replied

"Fine. I said my piece." Jecht replied

"Well, I haven't! Lord Braska, let us go back! I don't want to see you...die!" said the young Auron image pleaded

"You knew this was to happen, my friend." Braska replied

"Yes, but I... I cannot accept it." young Auron said in depair

Braska laughed "Auron, I am honored that you care for me so. But I have come to kill grief itself. I will defeat Sin, and lift the veil of sorrow covering Spira. Please understand, Auron." Braska said

"Are the Trials ahead?" Jecht asked

"Probably." Braska said

"Here too, huh? Gimme a break. I was expecting, you know, parades and...fireworks!" Jecht said with enthusiasm

"You can ask for them after I defeat Sin." Braska said as the three of them disappeared

 

Dean continued onwards but he saw someoen familar. "Hell no..." He said, seeing a younger Seymour, crying with a older woman, presumbly his mother. "...Isn't that..." Tidus began to say and Wakka finished it. "Maester Seymour?"

 

Daichi looked at the young version of Seymour... he felt his blood starting to boil...
but he tried his best to keep it under control... for Lukya's sake, this would be hard on her too.
He stood next to her and took her hand, giving a it a gentle re-affirming squeeze.

 

"Brother!" Lukya shouted, seeing the image. Kari, Rikku, and Yuna were silent, staring at the image. Lukya walked up slowly and wondered what happened.

 

"No mother, I don't want you to go!" Younger Seymour cried as Seymour's mother spoke. "I...don't...have much time left, make me the Fayth and become loved by the people." She said as the image was gone.

"...She had a disease...?" Dean finally asked aloud.

 

"she became a fayth....a fayth I have never seen. Could it be the fayth of Anima" Ryo said remembering witnessing the summoning of Anima once

 

Lukya cried and probably realized Seymour was lost without his mother. "I was never told much about Seymour's mother, but yes, she did have a disease. Father told me that she became the Fayth of Anima when she died."

 

Daichi pulled Lukya into a hug.
Letting her cry against his chest.

 

"...Let's keep going." Dean said and continued on, following the images of Jecht, Braska and Auron and he recalled what the Trails when they spoke. "...Been a while since the Cloister of Trials." He said honestly.

 

Lukya held him and cried. Yuna looked at her and sighed.

 

"Seymour...banished by the guado with his mother. His mother must have been the only one close to him at the time and in the end he was left alone" Ryo said

 

"He probably couldn't see that there was someone else there for him." Kari said, looking at Lukya.
