Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Ryo looked over at Kari "no its alright. I'm fine" Ryo said walking forward

 

"Wait, Ryo! I just want to say, thank you......... for slapping some sense into me back at Zanarkand." Kari stopped him and looked at him.

 

Daichi stepped back barely dodging Luna's strike.
Despite her being just an image, she still cut him. This was very real... he could die here.
"What do you want?!" he roared pulling out his two katana and being forced to fight the ghosts of his past.
"Why do you fight?"
"Why do you fight?"
"Why do you fight?"
Luna, Biran and Yenke asked.
Daichi cut through some of the images, them dissipating into Pyreflies at the contact of his blades, but they just reformed at the edge of the Farplane and stepped forwards again, re-joining the fight.

 

Dean felt his Aeon respond within him about the Farplane but he closed his eyes. "No need to do that, it's a challenge and test for him, just like how Nightburn tested me.

 

"your such an idiot" Ryo said to kari as he walked away "I would have cursed myself for all eternity if I let you go threw with it" Ryo said stumbling away

 

Kari scoffed and looked away, smiling at him. She watched him walk away, Rikku looked at her and sighed.

 

He thought back... this had happened to Lukya, well... it was similar... this was a test.
It wouldn't end no matter how many of them he defeated unless he could pass it...
Fighting these ghosts of his past pained him... he didn't want to fight them anymore... it was something he was already past. He especially didn't want to fight Luna.
He had lost too much already... he felt he would lose everything if he lost himself here. He thought about his friends waiting for him.
He stopped.
He dropped his Katana, and stood at peace.
The many blades went stabbing into him. Blood escaping from his wounds.
He looked at the image of his sister in front of him, and gave his answer.
"I fight for those I have lost... and for those I don't want to lose."
For those he had lost; His sister... The Ronso.
For those he didn't want to lose; His friends... and... Lukya.
The answer was so clear to him. He said it with confidence.
There was a flash and the Farplane was still, many Ronso stood at the Edge, his sister stood at the edge too, Daichi's wounds were also gone.
"You had forgotten why you fight... but now... everything will be okay."
They disappeared. A Sigil was on the floor in front of where Luna had been.

 

Lukya waited at the entrance of the Farplane, waiting for Daichi.

 

Daichi picked up the Sigil and put it on.
Luna... Thank you... for the message...
and... thank you... you guided them to the Farplane didn't you... Even though they weren't sent...
Thank you.

He walked out of the Farplane. Lukya was waiting for him.
"...Luna, reminded me... why I fight." he told her.

 

Lukya nodded and smiled.

 

Tidus spoke. "So where to now?" He asked and Dean looked at him. "Don't know."

 

"I have a place I want to go to" Ryo said looking at the others tightening his grip on the map in his hand

 

"So, should be we heading off to Bevelle to ask Grand Maester Mika about Yu Yevon?" Kari asked.

 

Daichi pulled out his Crest and looked at the Sigil.
Both gifts from Luna.
His Katana started to glow and morph.
They were still a Red Gem, but the Gem seemed to glow more and the blades seemed wider and even sharper.
The handle turned from Grey to black and the contact point of the handle and the sword morphed into a Lion's head, the Gem Sword part protruding from the open mouth of the Lion.
Bit's of gold on the black lion head highlighted the eyes and the rest of the Lion's features.
They weren't quite Katana's anymore. They were somewhere between a Sword and Katana, but Daichi liked them all the same. He held them up to examine them in the light.


OOC: The swords are close to the wideness of Tidus's Brotherhood, but not as wide.
Hence they aren't completely a normal longsword, but they aren't Katana either since Katana are a certain shape and width.

 

Lukya took out her bow and smiled at his weapons. Kari took out her weapon and walked up to them, "Looks like the Fayth each gave us new weapons, huh?" She smiled.

 

"No... not the Fayth for me... my sister." He smiled.

 

Kari smiled and nodded. Lukya held her bow close and smiled.

 

Ryo looked over at them "so shall we go" Ryo said. He was curious about the place the map led him to

 

He looked at the weapons... "Twin blades for Twin Lions...
It seems fitting.."

 

"Alright, lets get going." Kari said, walking to the group. Lukya looked at Daichi, and held out her hand, smiling. Yuna wondered where he got the map.
