Final Fantasy X: Forgotten Answers

Daichi took Lukya's hand.
"So Ryo... what does the map show you...
Something tells me it wasn't just my sister who left me a gift."

 

Ryo stood on the airship and handed the map to Brother who took off once everybody got on. Ryo calmly crossed his arms "say...have you ever heard of the legendary blade?" Ryo asked everybody

 

"I've heard of it... but it is what it says in the name... A legend supposedly."

 

"The Legendary Blade, don't think we have." Kari said, thinking about the name. Rikku shrugged her shoulders.

 

Ryo closed his eyes "your right its just a legend. A story told to children...a stroy told to me" Ryo said to Daichi and looked up at the roof "It was what inspired me to become a swordsman. The greatest blade in all of Spira...unrivaled by all. It was my dream to obtain that blade" Ryo explained to Kari and Rikku

 

"...you think the map will lead you to it?" Daichi asked.

 

"not a chance" Ryo said "but it will lead to something important...Salina wouldn't have sent it it was wasn't" Ryo said

 

"Well, then lets see where this map will lead us." Kari said, as the airship flew. Lukya looked at Daichi, and asked, "What is the Legendary Blade?"

 

"It's just as Ryo said... it was a legendary blade used by a legendary warrior... a story... a legend...
The story varies from culture to culture, but the key things remain the same.
The blade has never been found. Hence why people aren't sure if it even exists...
Of course... there are other legendary weapons... Celestial Weapons...
Since we know Celestial Weapons exist... there is a strong possibility this legendary blade exists too... in fact... the blade itself might in fact be a Celestial weapon."

 

"The question is, who will be to obtain it as their Celestial Weapon?" Kari said, with her arms crossed.

 

"I have my own theories about the blade...
It's considered the greatest blade...
yes... some weapons are better than others... but... in the end, a weapon is only as good it's wielder.
Often the reason why some weapons only reveal themselves to those who are worthy, for example, your weapons Kari, or Lukya's bow, Dean's guns etc...
I think... the blade itself is indeed powerful. But if it is a Celestial Weapon. It's power won't be significantly greater than say our Celestial weapons for instance.
It's up to the wielder entirely...
I think it's because of this that the legend might have become exaggerated over the years...
Either way..." Daichi trailed off.

 

Kari sighed. "Guess you're right. Where were we heading, anyway?"

 

Ryo nodded in agreement but suddenly the airship began to shake "what the? we are going down?" Ryo said as he noticed fog surrounding the airship and that the airship was being pulled down

 

Lukya held onto Daichi as the airship was being pulled down. Rikku and Kari tried to hold their ground, Yuna held onto Kimahri for support.

 

The airship eventually reached the ground but luckily Brother managed to land safely "I'm going to go check it out" Ryo said running out

 

Daichi put his arm around Lukya as she held onto him for support.
He held on to a nearby console with his other hand as the airship was falling.

 

Kari sighed and wondered what happened. Lukya looked out and wondered where they were. Rikku walked up and tried to look out the window.

 

"Is everyone okay? ..." Daichi asked.
Ryo could have at least waited to see if everyone was alright before running out.

 

Ryo jumped out of the airship and ran out in the fog "a cave?" Ryo muttered

 

"I'm okay." Yuna said, and everyone else mentioned they were good or okay. Kari groaned and followed Ryo off the airship.
