What is the deal about the Final Fantasy series?

The Final Fantasy series is awesome! I'm guessing you've played about 5 minutes of one Final Fantasy game and think it's stupid. Either that or you just started this thread for attention...

 

First off, wrong forum, im moving it after this post. Secondly, The Final Fantasy Series has MOST of the innovations that all RPGs have now, and they came up with them YEARS ahead of the rest of the companies. I will admit, no its not the best, but its strong enough to go for twelve titles now (Not including the Tactics expansions) They have beautiful stories(usually) terrific graphics, great gameplay mechanics, It is an all around well-polished series. And for your information, I HATE the series, but come on, have some respect for them. They are what makes any other game now be the way they are, FF raised the bar greatly.

 

Whats up with them? They define the genre, and set the standard of how RPG's should be. If you hate Final Fantasy then you will have the RPG genre as a whole.

 

There is nothing wrong with Final Fantasy. Anyways , Kingdom Hearts has Final Fantasy and Disney characters mixed into it. So why would you no like it ?

Obvously this is comming from someone who only played ff8, do yourself a favor get ff7 and play it.

I've playing FFs since I was 5.
Every one of them have greatly satisfied me. Amazing stories, awesome graphics,and each FF has it's special side.
I'm sure you only played like 5 minutes of one and decided it sucked.

 

I've only ever played FF7; seeing as how I have no gaming console other than my computer, I consider that quite an accomplishment. The only thing I have to say against the series is the turn-based play; other than that, I love it so far.

 

well big deal is Kingdom Hearts has Final Fantasy meet Disney so why would you not like it?
