First Fall of Crimson Snow

Kendra forced herself to stand up, wincing as she did so. Moving again ticked her off. If she had the strength and an extra arm, she would've encased who ever was shooting them with ice if she could. 'I've should've done that in the first place...' Kendra stopped moving and suddenly froze within the tree. The forest suddenly became quiet... almost too quiet.

More gun fires sudden sounded, very close to where the threesomes were, and towards Scott. More nets were thrown at them. And on top of that, something was launched into the air. A can suddenly impacted into the ground. Smoke exploded from it, but this time it wasn't a smoke screen... It was tear gas. And it was leaking out rather quickly where the other mutants were. So it would be hard to escape.

OOC: Muwhahahaha! Sorry guys, had to make it intense somehow.

 

Vaughn smelld the gas before he saw it. He coughed lightly at first then the coughs became more harsh. "T-tear gas!?"He said loudly as he fell to his knees. He had to support himslf on both knee and his right arm seeing as he was coughing into his left. His vision becme blurry. "N-no..." Vuahgn wpered before passed out.

 

Sinder got caught in the gas with them.

She forced herself not to cough and tried to run even faster.

"Damnit they don't give up easy huh?" she said to Vaughn.

A smile crossed her face and she took to the air between the trees.

This way would be much faster and with the invisibility it would be almost impossible for them to get spotted.

Vaughn had passed out and she needed to get both of them out of there.

She took a good grip around his waist and took to the air between the trees.

'This just isn't my day.

I guess this is what I get for listening to that stupid voice.'

 

Alyssia moved away from the others. She peaked to the side of the tree, soon spotting gas coming towards them. For a moment, she thought it was the same gas from what she first saw a while ago, but her eyes and throat began burning. She quickly covered her mouth and nose as she began coughing. "W-What is this...?" she asked to no one in particular. She closed her eyes tightly, the burning sensation was too much to bear. Opening one eye, she saw a net heading towards. Before she could react, she was trapped. She laid on the ground, coughing violently. Damn it! She ignored the burning sensation she felt and tried keeping herself from coughing so much as she quickly started moving around in the net. I need to break free!

 

Kendra inhaled on accident when she stumbled forward with Scott, suddenly coughing as her lungs were spazzing out from the intrusion of the smoke. She closed her eyes tightly as the gas started to burn her eyes, but kept going where Scott was going. 'Don't stop, don't stop. Keep going, keep going Kendra.' Kendra's shoulders shook as she coughed, but that didn't stop her from moving. She raised her injured arm up to bury her mouth in the bandages on her arm.


"You guys won't get away that easily..." Clay muttered under his breath. He had one, the other two were attempting to escape. He didn't know what happened to the other three since they disappeared. "Dang it..." He knew he couldn't use bullets on the boy, he would just send them back. But if he was quick, maybe, just maybe... Clay loaded his gun quickly and fired at the two with stun bullets. It would hurt them, but it wouldn't injure them. As for the other girl... Clay quickly moved through the gas, grateful that he brought his gas mask with him. He stood over the other girl and crouched down by her, taking out a syringe with a sedative formula in it. "Good night..."

 

"crap" Seth muttered as the can exploded. He immediately ripped off the sleeve of his shirt and tied it around his nose and mouth to at least try to block out the gas. Once he finished, he noticed a net heading straight at him. Seth countered by chucked the two daggers he had to a nearby tree. Seth sighed in relief, but knew to worse was yet to come. He began looking around the area for the others, his eyes tearing up. He immediacy noticed Clay and ran forward straight at him. As he ran, his hand began to glow and a sword appeared in his hand. Holding it with both hand he swung the sword downward at Clay

 

Alyssia continued to cough, barely able to react when she saw Clay. Although it wasn't noticeable, she was glaring at him. Should I use it? Alyssia turned away, pressing the palm of her right hand against the net. Please work... Something began clicking at her palms. Small sparks appearing and disappearing. She closed her eyes tightly, a small "boom" sound coming from her side. The area of the net where she had her hand burned a hole and eventually caused a bigger hole to form, allowing her to turn towards Clay and kick the syringe out of his hand. She removed the net away from her and quickly rose to her feet, keeping her hands over her mouth. "You're not getting me so easily..." she muttered in between coughs.

BIC:
Through the commotion, Kendra felt Scott weaken and winced in pain. 'He got shot...' Kendra quickly pulled her good arm away from Scott and put it around under Scott's arms. He was starting to slow down. 'This isn't good...' Kendra heaved as she coughed more, but she fought it down and pushed onward. It was hard to juggle an injured arm, being almost blinded, and hauling an injured guy along, but she was somewhat managing. They were getting away from the smoke... Thank goodness.

Clay was stunned when the girl suddenly popped out of net like daisies popping out of the snow. He was about to aim his gun at the girl and shoot her down with the stun bullets, but then saw something in the corner of his eye under a mask. He barely had time to dodge the beam blade and rolled out of the way, quickly cocking his gun and getting ready to fire at the boy.

Suddenly, sounds of gun fire were heard through the trees. But they weren't aimed at the kids. It was aimed at Clay.

Clay cursed under his breath, moving out of the way but he got grazed by a bullet on his left arm. He was being outmatched. One against five was not the deal number for him. He aimed his gun toward the place were the bullets came from and fired again, then he turned his attention back on the kids and fired at them. 'Two left...' Clay thought. It looked like he had to retreat soon.

OOC: "They popped out of snow! LIKE DAISIES!"

BIC: Alyssia's hand began charging another shockwave. Although she only had one eye open, she kept her gaze on Clay, refusing to turn away, afraid that if she did, Clay would just shoot her the moment she turned her back. Seeing him point the gun, Alyssia moved away, but felt one of the bullets lightly graze her shoulder. She winced in pain, but soon pointed her hand at Clay, sending a larger shockwave at him. She felt herself stumble backward, feeling her back slam against a tree. The tear gas was beginning to be too much for her. Damn it.

 

Sinder had made it to one of the hideout trees and flew up into the twisted branches.

The opening small enough for her to slip through with Vaughn could be seen and she made her way into it.

As she got inside she laid Vaughn on the bed.

He was still passed out so she got a bottle of water and sat down on the floor.

She looked at him curiously, wondering when he'd get up.

Then she sang a song to herself in a hushed voice.

Safety was theirs.

 

Vaughn moaned in his leep as he urned his head toe side. "N-no..." He mumbled. "N-no..it...hurts..." He said louder. "NOOO!" He suddenly screamed sittig up. He blinked when he realized h wasn't in the forest. "Wha-what?" He looked around and spotted Sinder. "Y-you.." He said halfheartily.

 

Sinder stopped singing as Vaughn started screaming.

"I'm sorry if I startled you," she said to him.

"You are safe now. I brought you to one of my hideouts."

She gave a soft, friendly smile to him.

Her interest in him made her wonder what boys were like. She never met one personally before.

Her head tilted to the right a little as she was in thought.

 

Vaughn blushed when h calmed own. "N-no..it's ok...I had...a...nevermind..." He sad quicky. He looked around. "So...what's our name? I'm Vaughn...." The male said a bit more bold. The silverette stood and sat next to her.

 

Sinder blushed slightly when Vaughn sat next to her.

'He's kinda cute...'

"I'm Sinder," she said as she put out a hand to shake.

"It's nice to meet you Vaughn."

She smiled a little more.

 

Vaughn smiled back and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you, too, Sinder." He laughed at her blush. "You cold? I could let you use my coat." He starte tof the black long coat. He smiled a bit wider, really looking t hr acforte frt time. 'Wow...she's cute...'

 

Sinder smiled a little bit wider and pulled her wings close under the coat.

"Thanks," was all she could say to him.

'Keep yourself together girl,' she thought to herself.

She tried not to blush more.

"So do you feel better since waking up?"
