First Fall of Crimson Snow

Vaughn tought or a moment. "Yes, I would like something to eat." He smiled and chuckled to himself. He sighed slightlyto himself. A frowned spread on his face. ".....I have had snything decent for days..." The male grumbled slighly.

 

The dragon-girl felt sorry for the boy and a frown crossed her face.

“Well I have plenty of food,†she smiled at him.

She tried to make the atmosphere lighter and happier now that the violence was over for now.

A face of pain appeared as she stood slowly.

The pain-killer was wearing off and she clutched the wound with her left hand.

Vaughn's jacket slid off of her shoulders and she stumbled a little bit.

Her wings drooped to the point where they were practically laying on the ground.

She took shallow breaths of air and gasped when the pain would spike.

 

Vaughn gasped when he saw her stumble some. He stood ad reached for her houlders. "A-are you ok?"He askd worriedly.

OCC: Oh darn....writters block right now....

 

"I got shot earlier," she said through clenched teeth.

She felt his hands on her shoulders and felt like he actually cared for her well being.

Almost her whole life she hadn't known what it was like to have someone care for her.

Sinder's life was mostly spent on her own, alone in the woods.

The girl made her way to the bed and sat on the edge, slouched over her legs.

"I think I'll be fine in a few hours."

Vaughn frowned and sat next to hr. "Are you sure?" He said, not caring if his worry was showing or not. "You need me to get some bandages?" The male stood and started to look for some. "An pain killers here?"

 

Sinder was glad the male was with her, he could get the syringe of pain killer.

She pointed with her free hand towards a cupboard.

"There are syringes in there. The pain killer is on the bottom shelf with the green tape."

Her hand dropped hard on the bed.

'He cares about me?...'

 

The silverette nodded and went to the cupboard. He grabbed the syringe, an then the pain killer. He carefully got the pain killer into the needle as he sat next to Sinder again. "Any place you ant me to place it?" He said turning to the girl.

 

"I don't really care," she motioned to the male.

She felt like a patient in a hospital.

Sinder had only seen one hospital in her life.

It was a depressing place filled with sick and hurt people.

Hospitals weren't a good place to be.

 

Vaughn nodded and gabbed a hung of flesh from her goo arm. He gently placed the tip on a random spot and slowly put it in. He sht the end dwn and counted to five before pulling it out. "Kay, done." The male said, placing the syringe on the counter.

 

Sinder fell backwards on the bed to lay down.

The impact left a big thud.

"Thanks," she said to the male.

The syrum was starting to settle in and she let out a sigh of relief.

She closed her eyes as the pain eased away.

 

Vauhgn smiled and stood once more. "So...where's the food?" He said smiling tryin to lightn the mood. He walked over to his jacket and picket it up. e looked out of the window and smiled at the snow falling. 'Kinda like that day back in...'

 

"Cabinets and fridge," she answered him.

She opened her eyes and sighed sadly as she sat up.

Her face landed in her hands.

'What do I do now? It's hard to keep a conversation going...'

Sinder looked at Vaughn for a moment before returning her face back into her hands.

'There's something about him...'

Vaughn smiled and slightly chuckled to himself. 'I haven't had things much contact with another person.....been years....' He as abut to reach for the fridge when he got shocked. "Wha-what the!?" He explain loudly. "What just happened?!"

 

Sinder looked at the boy oddly.

"What is the matter Vaughn?"

She had a confused look on her face.

The girl found herself at the male's side after a few moments and looked up at him.

"What's wrong?"

 

"Something...shocked me..." He said as if he was imaging things. "M-maybe I'm just tired." He mumbled coldly to himself. "I tend to do that...." The male sighed and closed his eyes. Vaughn faced Sinder and smiled. "I'm fine."

 

"I think electricity likes you," she giggled as she faced Vaughn.

She smiled at him.

"So are you tired? Still hungry?"

Sinder stopped herself from asking too many questions.

'I kinda like him...'

 

Vaughn just smiled. "Yes and yes." He said his smiled growing wider. 'She's really pretty.....I wander how old he is...she can't be the much younger than me....I hope...' He said chuckling to himself as he laid down.

 

Sinder smiled more at Vaughn.

"Well there's plenty to eat so help yourself."

She sat on the ground next to the bed and looked at the boy.

"So how old are you?"

 

Vaughn thought and frowne. "...If I remember correctly....I should be 17." He said counting on his fingers. "Yes....I'm 17 How old are you?" He said sitting up, and walking back to the fridge, this time grabbing a small sandwhich. "You don't seem that much younger than me."
