First Fall of Crimson Snow

"I am fifteen..." she counted in her head.

"Yep."

She looked at the ceiling and pondered for a sec.

'Only two years...'

OCC: MUWHAHAHA!! It spreads!

Vaughn chuckled and nodded. "Yep, not that long." Hesmled and took a bit. "My God...this is the best stuff I've had n a long time...." He said with a mouth full. "I'm sorry, mind my manners. Haven't been with a soul in a while." The male swallowed.

 

OOC: I'm back, recap please and since no one seems to have controled Eliza when I was away like I asked, where would she be now?

 

Sinder giggled at his remark about manners.

“It is ok. I have lived almost my whole life alone. Manners do not matter that much to me.â€

She smiled at him friendly.

After a minute or two she looked out the window.

Sinder loved the rain.

It reminded her of tears, though.

Tears of the ones that cry out in pain and loss...

 

Vaughn chuckled. "But I still should be polite to you. You did save me." He said as he simled. He followed her stare out the window and smiled sadly. "It's so pretty...yet so gloomy...." He mumbled some.

 

The girl smiled for a second,
but the smile was soon replaced by a frown.

"Yes, the rain is very pretty...

I wish I could be like the rain.

I could come and go whenever I want.

I wouldn't have to run and hide from Them...

I could be free..."

A tear rolled down her cheek as she remembered the screams of her dying father.

 

Vaughn frowned whenshe saw he cry. He slowly wipped it off. "It's ok...on't cry....." He said softly. The male orwned as he remembere isown amiy crying over his going away.

 

Sinder smiled a little as she looked at the boy.

His touch was gentle to her.

Her wings came over her a little, as if they were trying to keep her warm.

She laid her chin on her crossed arms that were resting on her knees.

 

Vaughn sighed and closed his eyes. His tail tiwtched slightly as he laid down. He could help the sleep that swallowed him. He was sound asleep a minute later, snoring slightly. In his dream he was floating in water just drifting away.

 

OOC: Okay! Sorry guys for the late reply, my internet kind of spiraled yesterday. O.o

Elsie arrived at the Peaceful Warrior base with everyone that decided to follow her and led her to a couple of buildings that were lined up along side each other. It was hard to see what was what because it was dark, but Elsie planned on showing them the base in the morning. "Here we are," she said cheerfully, "home sweet home. I'll fix the ones that are hurt over here, if you follow me..." Elsie went over to one of the buildings, opened it, and turned on the lights. They were dim, but everyone could find their way around. There were several cots lined along side each other, all of them kept clean. It was set up to be a hospital type place. "Why don't you guys have a seat, and I'll have a look at your wounds and see what I can do, hm?"

Kendra walked inside the building, taking a look around. This was nothing like the "torture chambers" back at the camp. It looked kind of cozy to her, and welcoming. Tired and worn out, she sat on the nearest cot, waiting on Elsie. Her arm ached and throbbed, but she was thankful that her lungs and eyes were fine now. Just a little foggy still, but they were fine. The tear gas wore off.

 

After Vaughn fell asleep Sinder started getting tired too.

She curled up on the floor and closed her eyes.

Sleep was almost instantaneaous.

Dreams of walking around the forest filled her mind.

Vaughn was also there, but there was only a glimpse of him by a lake.

The sun shone brillantly through the trees and in the clearings.

 

The male heard voices. They'e wee mufled byt the watter. He lazily looked over and there stood...his mother sister and father. Vaughn's eyes widen as he stood up in the lake. 'M-mother! Father! Sister!' He started o run but something stopped him. He looked down and there was apiece of sea weed on his ankle. It's hold tightn and he was pulled under. The boy started to drown as he struggled with th sea weed. That's when he Vaughn suddenly sat up, breathing hard. He looked to his side and saw Sinder sleeping peacfully.

 

Seth sighed as he untied the sleeve of his shirt that he tied over his mouth and nose and sighed once more, relieved to not be breathing in the tear gas. He slowly took a seat on a cot and closed his eyes. He had discared his sword earlier, trusting Elsie. It was no problem to him because he could create a new weapons. Seth was just relieved that he could finally rest

 

Alyssia's eyes darted back and forth, looking around the building. Completely different compared to what everyone always saw before they escaped. She clutched her arm and calmly sat down on one of the cots, staring down at the floor. The burning sensation from the tear gas had finally worn off, but she was exhausted. She only hoped none of this would take too long so she would be able to rest.

 

Sinder's sleep was disturbed by Vaughn's screams.

She didn't fully wake up though.

The dragon girl just curled up more on the floor and her wings wrapped around her, leaving her head out.


Something was wrong in her dream.

It started raining, but it wasn't normal rain.

It was blood.

A disturbed look crossed the dragon-girl's face.

Her dead father was tied to a tree.

 

Seth opened his eyes and looked over at Alyssia "how are you feeling" Seth said and looked down and closed his eyes once more. "I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you enough" Seth said feeling a bit guilty that she got shot.

 

Elsie first went over to Kendra first, opening a first aid box she retrieved from one of the many cabnets within the room. She took out the supplies that she needed, laying them out on the bed and then looked at Kendra's band-aid that was on her arm. Elsie couldn't help but to chuckle. "Who ever wrapped this one up was for sure not in Boy Scotts..." Elsie started to unwrap the bandage off of Kendra, ready to treat it once it reached open air. She knew that everyone else was tired, but tried to make light conversation. "So, what's your guy's power? What can you do?"

 

"Well gees, Mr. Grumpy Pants," Elsie muttered under her breath, finishing up dressing Kendra's arm. She didn't seemed fazzled by Scott's curtness. "I'll just hand you the first aid kit and you can do what ever the heck you want." Elsie shut the lid of it and then tossed it over to Scott's bed, making it land beside him. She then stood up and went over to Alyssia to check her wounds out. "What's the damage?" Elsie asked quietly, looking Alyssia over.

Kendra fingered her bandaged arm quietly. Although it felt like someone poured fire on it from the stuff that Elsie put on it, Kendra felt comforted that it was taken care of. She slowly looked up at the others to see how they were fairing. Scott seemed a bit... annoyed. Sure, the Peaceful Warrior girl was a little too happy... but she was just trying to help. Kendra watched Scott from where she was at, observing him to see how he would take care of his bullet wound.

 

Alyssia looked towards Seth and lightly shook her head. "It's alright," she muttered. "At least we made it out alive. But I'm doing okay, just in pain..." She turned her attention towards Elsie before looking at Scott. She began wondering why he had such an attitude towards all of them when they were all the same, except for Elsie of course. It actually kind of annoyed her either way. Alyssia quietly sighed and lowered her head once more. "I'm able to sense one's presence, read people's minds and create shockwaves," she said, staring at the palm of her right hand. She raised her head, removing her hand away from her wound when Elsie came towards her. "Gun shot wound."
