First Fall of Crimson Snow

Sinder tried to reach out to her dad but he kept moving farther away from her.

"DAD!!!" she called out in her sleep.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she curled up in a tight ball.


"DAD! Dad I'm right here! Come back!" she yelled to her dead father as she continued reahing for him.

She woke up in a sitting position and hid her face in her crossed arms that were on her knees.

The girl sat and cried there on the floor.

Her wings pressed up against her back.

 

A small chuckle escaped from her lips as her smile became bigger. "But as they say, 'Looks can be decieving.' No? I've seen boys with slender, girl-like hands." Kendra held up her hand, palm facing towards Scott. There were calluses on her palm, which showed that she had done hard labor before. Some of them were new, because of the camp, but some of them were formed from when she was with her family. "Girly hands, but they're not smooth as they should be. And all of us make good or bad dicisions."

"Anytime..." Elsie sat on a cot across from Alyssia, interested with talking to the new girl now. A new friend was rare in these times. "When you guys get your strength back, maybe you guys can help us with a little plan we've been trying to cook up for a while."

 

Vaughn turned his head when he heard Sinder scream. He hurridly ran back in. "S-Sinder!?" Are you ok!?" He run p to her and kneeled beside her. "What's the matter!? What happened!?" He said as he put his hand on her shoulders. "A-are you hurt!?"

 

"He was... right there," she said inbetween sobs.

Sinder turned and embraced Vaughn, hugging him tightly.

She tried to forget the awful dream.

But it was now imprinted in her mind.

 

Vaughn frowned and wrapped his arms around her. "It-
s ok...It'll be alright.." H mumbled as he buried his face in her hair. "I'm right here..." He whispered as if that would help the poor girl.

 

"what is this plan" Seth calmly said opening his eyes and looked over at Elsie, finally saying something after a while. He owed Elsie for helping him and the others and was willing to help her with this plan she was talking about

 

The girl's sobs became less as time passed on.

She didn't hug the boy tightly anymore, just holding him.

Sinder became calm eventually and moved to wipe her face with her arm.

She sat back on her rear with a sad expression as she looked at the ground.

The encounter with the R.N.A. had brought up the saddest moment in her life.

 

Vaughn smiled when she puled away. "...You wanna tell me what yor nightmare was about? When I was younger mom said that speacking the nightmare was better than keeping it in." He smiled sadly at the memory. The male sighed as he remember his mother.

 

"It's just...my dad.

He was killed by the R.N.A. and I saw him.

He was tied to a tree and I couldn't get to him.

I didn't want to lose him again..." she said in a monotone.

The dragon-girl looked at the boy for a moment but looked back down at the ground.

Her wings laid limp behind her.

 

Kendra shook her head quietly while lowering her hand. "No... Not now. I feel kind of tired actually... All that running around and... Yeah." Kendra was really spooked today. All those times she almost got caught by one of the Stealth Force guys. Almost as scared as she felt on that night when she lost everything...

Kendra quickly shut that out of her mind. She didn't need to think about that now. Carefully, she folded her wings in a bit, but not all the way. "Maybe tomorrow I'll feel like doing something..."

"Well... it's not a stable plan yet. You see, we want to infiltrate the Mutant Camp, but we dont' know their weak spots... Plus they have a lot of guys, and a ton of security. We don't know how to get pass that yet." Elsie shrugged her shoulder while looking at the floor. "So... we do what we can so far. Gathering supplies and weapons to prepare for the day we finally have a big plan to get inside is what we're doing right now."

 

Alyssia stared down at the little water that was left in the cup Elsie had given her. She stared down, seeing her reflection. Her index fingers lightly rubbed against the cup, listening to the young girl talk of their plan. Alyssia briefly closed her eyes raising her head once more to look at Elsie. "I'm sure most of us would like to help out," she calmly said. "Then again...really depends, I suppose. I'd be willing to help, but some of us might not be able to handle a fight." she added, shrugging her shoulders a little.

 

Seth closed his eyes and smiled "I'm in. I will do as much as I can" Seth said. This was going good for him. A life of relaxing sounded nice and all to Seth, but he wanted to fight back at the R.N.A, to get his revenge

 

The girl shrugged her shoulders a bit. "I only know how to use a little bit of my powers..." Kendra said, a little unsure what she was really capable of. She knew what she did to Clay was just a form of instinct and luck. She knew she couldn't survive on that alone though.

"Those who are not able to fight will have to be trained by those who can fight," Elsie said as she looked at Kendra. Then she looked back at the others. "It's the only way to survive out here. If the ones that can fight are willing to train those who don't have the skill or the power to do so, then we'll have a better chance of survival."

OOC: RECAPS! XD Sinder took Vaughn to her hide out, and they're spending time together. Meanwhile, a Peaceful Warrior (AKA Elsie) rescued Alyssia, Kendra, Scott, and Seth from Clay and are now at the Peaceful Warrior base just hanging out and recovering. Zero's other character is still in combat with Flamedancer's... Shelby reported to Leon what's happening... and I think that's it.

 

OOC: So where do our Chars come in???

 

OOC: I thought your characters were with Sinder? O.o
