First Fall of Crimson Snow

"So do you guys want me to go or do you want me to hang around and take you guys somewhere safe," Sinder said in impatience with her arms crossed. "I don't have all day and have other things to do." She let her wings hang and the rain dripped off of them. She was impatient of their decision. Sinder understood that a stranger was hard to trust but in their situation she thought that they would want help.

 

Eliza looked out at Sinder from behind a tree, she seemed nice enough and seemed willing to help them that they really needed, she was just a little wary after everything back at that place. She would never ever go back there. She shuddered at the single thought of it, but decided stepped out to join them, though remained silent.

 

Rita sighed and Took of her glasses, Her ears were still there thankfully. She noticed another girl, she looked at her, trying to remember if she had seen her in the camp. She looked at Kendra. "So what now?" She asked her, still keeping an eye on the other girl.

 

Eliza noticed another girl looking at her and looked down shyly. Everyone else seems so confident and sure of themselves, she began to doubt if she really belonged in this group. Although, her best chance of getting out of this alive was with them, she did not want to go out on her own. She only hoped she could prove herself to them.

 

Rita walked over to the other girl. "Are you one of us?" She quizzed, her cat ears twitching to any sound around her.

 

She looked up at the girl, silently cursing the fact she was so short, "I think so, I escaped from the camp at least" She said quietly, hoping this girl would accept her. She didn't want to be an outcast, in a group of people who were like her.

 

Rita looked at her."Well...you seem trustworthy." She smiled "I'm Rita" She stuck out her hand, waiting for the girl to shake it.

 

Eliza smiled slightly and shook Rita's hand, "I'm Eliza, nice to meet you" She twiddled with her hair with her free hand, exposing for a second one of her pointy ears.

 

Rita smiled again. "So, whats your power?" she asked, cleaning her cat ears. She looked at the others and sighed, So few got out she thought to herself.

 

"I can turn invisible" She replied quietly, "What can you do?" She asked curiously, still twiddling her hair. Maybe, she thought, maybe she could get on here after all.

 

Rita continued to clean her ears. "I'm a shape-shifter" she said cooly, she began scratching her ears. "MEOW" she let out by mistake, she put her hands over her mouth, she felt very embarresed.

 

Eliza laughed, "Really, that's so cool. So can you turn into animals or look like other people?" She asked quickly, wanting to know more.

 

"Im still working on the people part" Rita said, feeling a bit calmer. "But i can turn into lots of different animals" She pointed to her cat ears.

 

"That's amazing" Eliza said happily, glancing around at the group, and then back into the woods the way they had came, she was never going to go there ever again.

 

Rita yawned, all that running had made her tired. "We should really start moving soon" She said to the entire group. She started cleaning her ears again, but stopped because of the cold and put her glasses over her ears.

 

Eliza nodded, "Okay, but where are we going to? It won't help us to just run around in circles" She asked, thinking about it. She rubbed her hands together in an attempt to warm them up.

 

Rita frowned at the question."Hmm good point." She said. "Mabey we can find some people to help us?"

 

Eliza glanced at Sinder, "Or just take a chance on her?" She asked simply.

 

Rita looked up at Sinder, "She does seem nice" She said to no one in particular
"We should wait to see what the others think first." She stretched her arms,
"Man o man i need a good stretch!" She said as she started to change shape.
