First Fall of Crimson Snow

Kendra gasped when she heard a sudden, almost insane laughing coming from behind her. When she turned around, she nearly screamed out of shock to see someone or something coming at her at full speed. She couldn't see their outline exactly, but she knew it was a Stealth Force soldier. Kendra sidestepped quickly to avoid the oncoming person, only to to feel something suddenly stab her in the arm. A shock wave of pain screamed through Kendra's arm, signaling to her brain that she was hit by something. Kendra didn't have time to look, she was driven by fear to get away from here and scurried out of the way of the other guy and back into the cover of the smoke before the Stealth Force could figure out where she went.

Clay quickly lowered his gun as the other Stealth Force member stepped in his line of fire and went to attack the bird girl. Clay wasn't complaining, at least someone else was taking care of the job. He could see that the bird girl was hurt, but then lost track of her as soon as she stumbled into a cloud of smoke that still remained. 'That'll slow her down at least... Now to deal with the other guy.'

In the mean time, Kendra bit her lip while clutching her arm with her good hand while trying not to scream out in pain. She felt something warm ooze down her fingers and her arm which only meant one thing. Kendra knew that she was bleeding. 'Pull yourself together, you'll be okay.' Kendra held her breath as she tried to walk as quietly as possible. She was starting to see stars, and her vision was a bit fuzzy from the extreme pain she felt. There was no time to look at it. She had to run, escape.

 

Jonah's laughter silenced after the two freaks disappeared into the smoke. It was then he noticed another soldier nearby. Instead of going towards him he dove back into the bushes on the other side to prepare for another stealth attack from the nearby shrubbery and that way if the longer ranged ally could see them, he could hit them easier.
At least he was happy that his psychological tactics of crazed laughter seemed to be a success. It was a method of implanting fear into the enemy he learned from his harsh studies.

OOC: Just watched an awesome episode of Kamen Rider about hatred and fear so I stole some good stuff :lolface:

 

Sinder's wings beat against the air with ease, no one could see her.

A maniacal laughter filled her ears as she got closer to the dissipating smoke. It left her a chill down her spine.

But she had her weapon too, the screech of the dragon. The yell that hurt the ears of others.

Two beings were running through the forest. One was injured and the other was helping the one with the wound.

Should she interfere again?

Should she take them from the ground and make all of them disappear into the sky?

 

Seth climbed up a tree and watched below, observing the smoke below and hid in the leaves there is no doubt about it now, R.N.A members are down there Seth thought to himself as he closed his eyes and put out his hand. His hand started to glow and suddenly two daggers appeared in his hands. This should do. Using a bow and some arrows would be useful, but I do not know how to use them. It would do more harm then good for me and a gun is too complex for me to create Seth thought as he held the daggers awaiting a target

 

OOC: Yeah for using TV shows as a reference! XD I do that a lot.

BIC:

Kendra was surprised that somebody was by her side, but then recovered after they said they were on her side. 'Thank goodness...' Kendra felt the being nudge her to walk forward and she did so. But each step she took sent shocks of agnozing pain up her arm from where the dagger was still implanted. She clentched her teeth tightly together as she walked, trying not to whimper in pain. In her state of fear, panic, and discomfort she realized that she was probably leaving them a trail of blood to follow. How did the other guy find her? She assumed it was because of the blood that was dripping off of her arm. 'Dang it, Kendra...'

Clay moved back as the smoke started to receed. He lost site of the girl and the boy, but he knew he would find them soon enough. There was more to catch, and besides, he figured that girl wouldn't get far with the injuries she had.

 

Stephan let out a growl, then rushed up and knocked the gun out of Luke's hand. He let out a laugh. "Damn...I meant to take off your hand...I need to work on my aim." He ducked and swung his leg around, tripping Luke effectively.

 

Kendra numbly nodded her head and kept walking in silence as she clutched her arm. They were getting away... Unless the Stealth Squad decided to presue them longer. That sent chills up Kendra's spine.

The girl stumbled a bit, quickly catching herself and biting her lip to hold back a scream. She knew she had to pull out the dagger sometime, but for now, it had to stay put. Blood was going to leak everywhere if she pulled it out now, especially since she didn't have the time to treat it at the moment. And that would make a bigger trail than before. No, she had to deal with it.

The leaves of the trees hissed as it began to rain again. Kendra winced when the rain drops hit her injured arm and pulled it closer to her chest. She kept walking though. She wasn't going to stop unless the boy told her to. Kendra knew if she stopped on her own, she probably wouldn't move again.

OOC: Putting Clay on pause for a bit, since I can't come up with clever things right now. <<

 

Alyssia leaned against a large tree, her chest burning from how much she had been running. She was soaking wet and she was trembling, both from fear and from being cold. She was the last of the mutants to have escaped since she wasn't so sure if she would end up losing her life in the process of escaping. She was by herself and she knew everyone else was ahead of her. She could feel their presence, they were close. She brought her hand over her chest, panting as she tried regaining her breath. Relax. she told herself. You're free. She closed her eyes for a quick moment, inhaling deeply one more time before she pushed herself away from the tree. She didn't know whether to find the others or to keep going by herself. Before she knew it, she slowly walking towards the direction the others had gone off to.

Alyssia soon came to a halt. She felt other people's presences, more than to the amount that had escaped. Is it the... She trailed off in thought, soon noticing an area that was filled with smoke. She quickly moved behind a tree, her eyes set on the cloud of smoke, already having a feeling someone that was just like her was in there. She pressed her lips together, getting down on her knees, afraid of getting caught by anyone. She stayed quiet, simply watching to see if anything were to happen.

OOC: Since I barely joined, just trying to catch up. XD Hope it's alright. >>

 

Seth sat on the tree branch and looked down at the ground and noticed somebody outside of the smoke A girl? She could be one of us, or one of the special forces...I can catch her off guard Seth thought to himself as he gripped his two daggers. He immediately jumped out of the tree and threw one of his daggers at Alyssia's area. He didn't throw the the dagger to hit her, but to catch her off guard

 

Sinder saw the two running between the trees and flew to them.

The one that was injured was leaving a trail of blood.

That wasn't good to stay under the cover of escape.

She hovered over them silently and said to them, "Do you need help? I can help you if you need it."

 

If they didn't need her she would be useless.

She left them to their business as she flew off unseen.

If they needed her,
She would not come.

For she would be off on her own business and keeping alive.

She tried to help, but her help is in vain.

As the wind went past her she kept emotionless.

She would not lose any sleep over them.

 

Kendra breathed out in relief when she heard the boy said that they were going to stop soon. But loosing the chance to escape further with Sinder kind of bothered her. "Shouldn't we have gone with her?" Kendra asked through clentched teeth. "I'm going to give us away... with this..." Kendra lifted her arm gently to prove her point, and then brought it back towards her body. Her arm ached so badly, she just wanted it to stop hurting as soon as possible. And the rain... it was was cold, and it made her shiver.

Kendra looked up when she saw the tree with the roots and stumbled over to it, crouching a little to walk inside without bumping her head. She then sat down heavily, not caring where, and clutched her arm tightly. So many things were happening... it was strange how a human being would be able to carry on and not go insane from so many things happening at once.

 

Alyssia noticed Kendra and Scott leaving the area. She became a bit curious, but noticed the girl was injured. She bit her bottom lip, watching them leave, wondering if she should follow them to see if they were part of The Special Forces or one of her kind. Alyssia took a step forward, but soon noticed a small dagger heading towards her. She quickly threw herself against the tree and quickly covered her mouth, in fear of making an noise. Where did that come from? She looked at the dagger that was planted down at the soft soil and then looked at where it had come from. She got down on her knees once more. Was I caught?

 

Vaughn had found a quiet place for him to relax. He was lookng out the window and smiled to himself. "Times like these..." He said quietly. The male sighed ad hugged his knees to his chest. "I miss you guys...I miss my family..." He siged again an stood. "Well....go and get something to eat..."

 

OOC: You guys keep forgetting that when Sinder flies she is ALWAYS invisible. She never flies when she isn't.

A voice kept telling her to go back to them.

"Why would you let them die?"

She tried to ignore it and put the voice in the back of her mind.

"They may die without you."

"Shut up!" she told the voice.

"Go back."

"I told you to leave me alone!"

The voice went quiet and Sinder thought for a bit about what it had told her.

"I hate you but you might be right. Fine. I'll go back, but if they don't want me around I don't want to hear you again."

She turned around and headed to where the two were hiding in the roots of a tree.

 

The bullet grazed Stephan's face, and he automatically felt blood dripping down to his jaw. He hissed, then chuckled. "Aw, now don't do that," he said, grabbing Luke's arms and pinning them to the ground. "I need to keep this pretty face."

OOC: I just thought we should satisfy all the yaoi fans and get some guy-on-guy action :lolface:
