As soon as Scott was done wrapping up her arm, she pulled it back to her chest while gripping it with her other hand. She didn't care about Scott's skill with bounding wounds, it was fixed. She wanted to scream and cry, but silence was what was needed right now. She would just have to bear it. "Thank you... by the way..." Kendra said softly, trying to control her voice so it didn't tremble. "I'm Kendra..."

 

"It's not your fault," Kendra said quickly, hearing what Scott said. "I've should've moved out of the way more..." Kendra scooted back until her back was touching the tree as well. She felt her wings under her shirt and was careful how she sat against the tree. Wings... that's what caused this problem in the first place. Kendra winced as she positioned her injured arm into a more comfortable position and cradled it on her stomach. The girl then laid her head back against the tree and took in a deep breath. 'The air smells so clean...' Kendra would've loved to sit in the rain any day, but not tonight. There was no warm house to escape to and dry off after being in the rain.

 

Sinder made her way to the ones hiding in the roots.

"How are you guys holding?" she said as she stood by the tree, unseen.

The voice made her concerned for them.

She hated that.

"I can still give you a place to stay, and antibiotics if you need any."

The dragon-girl waited for an answer. This was a bad idea to her.

She didn't want to help since she had already been shot and rejected of her help.

 

After throwing the dagger, Seth knew he had to act fast before he lost his chance. He landed on the ground and ran up to Alyssia and pointed his dagger at her "who are you" Seth said looking at her with his crimson eyes. He was looking to see if she had any unnatural traits like most mutants. If she gave any obvious sign that she was an R.N.A member then he would kill her mercilessly

 

Alyssia stared up Seth, completely caught off guard that she was caught so quickly. She pressed her hands against the thick soil and lowered her head. She bit her bottom lip, afraid if she said she was a mutant, he'd kill her. She soon raised her head again and eventually noticed his eyes. "I'm..." she trailed off, feeling her body begin to tremble more. "I'm not part of the R.N.A." she quickly said. "I'm a mutant." She slowly rose to her feet, caution in case of anything. She wouldn't want to do something so sudden that would cause Seth to respond back by harming her. She took a step back, feeling her hands touching the wet bark of a tree.

 

For a second or two Seth just stared at her. Just saying she was a mutant wasn't going to convince him. Seth suddenly lowered his dagger "I'm sorry about that. You can never be too careful" Seth said with a comforting smile noticing her nervousness. What convinced him that she was a mutant was how nervous she was

BIC: Stephan let out a cry, then clenched his teeth and dug his claws into the agent's arms. "Not a chance," he growled. "I know you don't listen to my kind, so I'll repeat myself. I've got six damn years-worth of revenge to get out of my system, and it looks like you're the unlucky ******* who gets the brunt of it." He sank his claws even further into Luke's skin. "And I'm gonna start by ripping off your arms."

 

Alyssia slightly relaxed her body, relieved that Seth believed. She nodded her head in response and faintly smiled. "I know," she quietly said. "It's kind of difficult to tell who and who apart." She looked over her shoulder, leaning a little to the side to look over towards where the cloud of smoke was. She then turned back towards Seth and stepped away from the tree. "We should probably get away from here. I saw two people leave that smokey area. I don't know whether they were one of us or not, but if they were, then that just means The Special Forces are close." She lowered her head for a brief moment, feeling the presence of several people close by.

 

"your right staying in one place will get us caught" Seth said as he walked up to the first dagger he threw and picked it up. "We can leave an traces that we were here" Seth said and walked back at her "its best that we know each others powers. I specialize in using energy. I can use it to create weapons, like the daggers I used" Seth said

 

"I'm able to sense one's presence, I can read minds and I can create shockwaves," Alyssia responded, beginning to walk as she tried staying as quiet as possible. "The only thing I can probably use to protect myself are the shockwaves," she chuckled a little as she lightly rubbed her head. Her hair was completely drenched. She kept feeling her bangs come over her eyes which caused her to quickly move them away. She never really liked having her hair in her face. It always annoyed her.

 

"the ability to sense a person...thats can be very helpful for us. We can be prepared for any sneak attacks" Seth said as he started to walk holding his daggers tightly. "My weapons can provide close range coverage while your shockwaves can back me up if we have to fight. I just hope the others got far away by now" Seth said wondering about the others that went with Sinder and hoped that they were fine

 

Vaughn had decided that walking in the woods would be the best way to calm his nerves. He sighed as he pulled his hood over his silver hair. His feet dragged slowly behind him. "I hate today..." The boy whispered to himself. His eyes down casted to the ground. "I hate remembering..."

 

"You have a point," Alyssia mumbled. She slightly tilted her head up, looking up at the dark clouded sky. She frowned as she felt the rain drops lightly hit her face and soon lowered her head to look ahead of her once again. "The only problem with me sensing one's presence, I can't tell who it is, sadly. I felt a large number of people when I was approaching that area. I just couldn't tell who was who." She narrowed her eyes and slowly sighed, only wishing her power was like the way she wanted it to be. "How many other people were there with you?"

 

Seth closed his eyes as he tried to remember "Including me there were five of us. While we escaped we met another mutant. It seems she wasn't captured like the rest of us. She offered to escape with her to her hide out but I declined and went off on my own" Seth said as he pushed his black hair away from his eyes

 

Kendra opened her eyes a bit, looking over at Scott when he asked the question. Her arm was throbbing now, which brought her discomfort but by now she was trying to ignore it. To part with Scott, or not... Kendra closed her eyes again, turning her head back away from Scott's. "Well... I'm not up to traveling right now..." Kendra said quietly, putting a hand on her arm. She felt tired, and a bit woozy. If she decided to go anywhere else at that moment, she would probably collapse on the spot.

 

"Wow. Didn't know it was that many people that escaped," Alyssia commented. She wrapped her arms around her stomach, attempting to warm herself up. Then again, she was completely wet so she doubted being warm would happen any time soon. She lowered her gaze down at the ground, feeling the presence of very few people now. "What should we do now?" she asked, turning her attention towards Seth.

 

"well we have couple of choices. We can continue running to who knows where and hope we get far enough from danger or maybe we can find some more mutants" Seth said putting his hand on his head, closing his eyes "although even though more mutants mean more power and coverage, it also means we will be more bigger of a targer" Seth said
