I just tried out Photoshop to make a signature and I think it came out very well. Let me know what you think. And if you use it, please give me credit.
Ok well for starters it is better than your first one. Although I would really suggest looking up some tutorials and following those. Try and get the gist of doing a sig that way then move on to another one then you can experiment and make your own thing. I think this will work out for you.
I think it looks pretty good. I can't tell what the red in the background in supposed to be, but I just get distracted by Tapion.
Not my personal taste but for your first time it's pretty good. The red in the back confuses me and I wonder why it's even there but all I would really change is the quality of the image but other than that, it looks good.
It looks pretty good. I have no idea what the red is (it looks like paint.. I think) and the image could be a bit of better quality, but good job though.
I blurred the picture a bit cuz i was expirimenting. Also, the red is baisically the remnants of his dark past melting away (watch DBZ Movie 3: Wrath of the Dragon and you'll understand why)
That's decent for your first attempt in photoshop. I strongly recommend using good quality images in your sig, it will improve the overall look a lot (a site I suggest is this one, you just need to sign up and voila). As for the red bits, I think smudges of red blended into the background to look like they're flowing out of him would look a lot better too. It's good that you're experimenting, and like Luxord said, have a look at some tutorials to help improve your skills. Try DeviantArt or the Help/Tutorial sub-section in this section.
While looking at this more I fail to see what you did exactly. I see the text and the random red splats but the rest just looks normal. EDIT: lol this was not hard to find on google. anyway i see what you did in the background and the red with the text. I suggest using a render not a full image.
I don't like renders, they always have a small outline (black or white pixels) and this was something that I learned to do called Blur Background. I simply changed the blur to a mosaic tile type thing. and your image has better quality then mine. gonna attemp this again tomorrow
I highly recommend you follow this tutorial. It is fairly simple and will show alot of tricks you can use while designing your signature. The tutorial will go over simple brushing techniques, lighting and etc... I also followed this tutorial and it worked wonders. The tutorials itself is also in a video format so its much easier to follow. Please just try it and post your results! http://www.sigtutorials.com/tutorials/video-tutorials/smudge-video-tutorial.html
Not all renders have black or white pixels on the edges. That just usually means the person didn't pay much attention when they were cutting the character/object out of the image.
This, and also, the background could be less blurry, but again, this is pretty awesome for your first time. You don't want to see my first signature (although it wasn't on photoshop). The red paint stuff in the background also contradicts with "7apion".
