The only thing I got out that video was 'piracy lolwut?'.
The privacy issue is still a big thing and the sad thing is a lot of folk that buy it won't even realise this. But I doubt Microsoft fanboys care.

    Also,

WHO HAS A 50"+ TV OUTSIDE?!

Well, according to my facebook wall, it seems that american football season is starting. so, this ad makes sense with the timing, the demographic they're aiming at, and the sort of business they are doing with other companies and organizations. and if we all remember, this was like their only selling point at e3.

Gamescom, however, showed the system was now on par with the PS4 in almost all ways, but you also get a high tech infra red camera as well. Basically, choose rum or cider.

Still say the only ones who are gonna buy it are fanboys.
I know a good lot of people (myself included) won't be touching the thing with a ten foot pole after the E3 fiasco.

My friend who's getting a PS4 too proves this false.

I bought mine when they were equally priced, and it's been a lot cheaper to use than the few years I had an Xbox 360 with a Gold subscription :|

Kinda the point he's making: all of these other platforms do it for free, but a so-called "all-in-one entertainment system" makes you pay to use stuff you already pay for?

And being able to use stuff like Youtube and Netflix without a special account on my PS3 is one of the big differences for which one collects dust for me.

Because its going to allegedly be a better service, you know like how MMOs tout that a subscription fee is needed to keep improving the game, which is utter bull. But we won't know till release, and honestly I still like both consoles because they offer similar things, i'm i'm only getting a PS4 currently in time because it's more affordable and fitting to what I want.

For me it's the games, PS3 collected a lot of dust over time in my room because it only released a few exclusives I cared about, and having friends who played the 360 probably helped make me a 360er more than anything.

...yeah, my experience with both Netflix and Youtube on the Xbox 360 was a lot tougher to navigate than on the PS3. But exactly what could a paid version improve on?

Oh, I've got tons of games too, but 4/5 times, if it's a console game, I get it for the PS3. Won't get into that stuff though, different mentalities about payment for services.

Really? I've never had trouble, I don't use them alot but when my mates are over and they wanna show me a YouTube vid or watch a show, it's been simple. And this is with just a controller.
I think that'll depend, but I have doubts it will be any real difference though stuff like shared watching was good, and maybe you'll get bigger stored streaming/recording capabilities than Sony? We'll know if they're bsing later.
