Forestt High

Welcome to Forestt High School, an elite boarding school for only the richest families to call their's. The new school year is about to begin and the students are just arriving to settle into their home for the rest of the year. What growing pains will be suffered through? What homework will be forgotten? What deadlines will be missed? What clubs will be formed and disbanded? Only time will tell.

Rules
1) No godmodding/powerplaying.
2) No 'special powers' obviously.
3) Your character must either be an adult teacher or a 15-18 year old student.
4) Post "academy" in your first post to prove you've read these.
5) Keep it PG-13-ish eg No explicit sex scenes, censor swearing, no gore.
6) Ignore rule four.
7) Post in legible english and at least attempt a decent post eg four sentences.

House System
*Each House will have a teacher in charge (Head of House) and a student representative (Prefect)
*Each House will have two dorms, one for the boys and one for the girls. Within each dorm there are enough rooms to house two students per room.
*Each House will have it's own Common Room, this room is for the students to relax and study in. It also has 10 computers for students to use for study.

Uniforms
There is a uniform, but it only needs to be worn at special occasions. Such as assemblies, formal evenings on special occasions and end of term celebrations. Otherwise the dress code is just tidy-casual.

Reward and Punishment Systems
Rewards are named "Merits" when a student earns so many merits they are permitted privillages such as being given evenings off campus and being able to go home over half terms.
*5 merits earns a chocolate bar.
*10 merits earns one night out.
*100 merits earns one half term home.
*1000 merits earns all half terms home until the end of their time at school. Punishments are on a coloured card system.
*Yellows are a warning and with thirty yellows comes the revoke of all privileges regardless of other behaviour.
*Oranges are Lunch Time detentions. You can earn one for every five yellows you receive.
*Reds are After-School dententions. You can earn one of these at every ten yellows.

She goes out on dates a lot, but she has never felt anything toward the man she went out on a date with. Some people just thought that Katherin is mean and cold hearted for dumbing everyone after the first date, but she would actually give anything to feel some loving feelings towards some guy. She smokes and drinks too. She used to do those thing only after bad dates, but lately she has started getting cigarets from strangers and stealing alcohol from her dad almost every day. Katherin comes from a very rich family and has got into fights with people who are either jealous or trying to steal something from her. She once got beat up pretty badly so she started to carry a knife around, just in case.

OOC- Alrighty then, lets get it started 8D

It was the begining of term and the young house head for Oak was starting to plan out her lessons for the following school day. Miss Mignogna, otherwise known as Lana to her colleagues, was sat at her desk in the English department office scribbling away in a rather tatty old notebook.
After a few frantic writing motions she gently tossed her head and her ash blonde hair flicked from her face. Lana closed her eyes in thought and tapped her pencil against her lips pensively before emitting a long, melancholy sigh.

Meanwhile, outside at the front of the school, Debora Keehl was saying her good byes to her parents. She knew it'd be a long, long time until she saw them again. Not until Christmas, if she was lucky. But after a few years you got used to it, and since Debbie had been in and out of boarding schools since she was 6 years old it wasn't a big problem for her.
"Yeah, see you Mum. Bye Daddy." She smiled, kissing each of her parents on the cheek, her large suitcase in one hand.

India was also outside,once again reasuring her parents that everything would be fine, that she promised to be good and not get into trouble and to try to work hard and she would call or write often.


Antonia Winterz,teacher of art was in her husband,Christopher Winterz, maths room,compairing timetable and student name lists and who would do well and who would be a problem.

 

Ollie was outside too sat on his suitcase waiting for everyone to enter the building. He was watching the two girls say bye to their parents. Afterward he just started to read his book.

Denithan heaved a long sigh, walking out openly onto the campus. All along the horizon old and new students alike were arriving, walking into the school grounds after saying their farewells. Having stayed the previous holiday to help out, Denithan was outrightly amazed, that somewhere deep inside that group was probably his younger sister.

Lucy stared idly outside the car window, a look of poor melancholy hanging from her face as the matter of farewells daunted over her. The car pulled over, and the momeny came, as she climbed out of the car and turned to address her parents. They were both busy, and thus, couldn't give her a proper farewell, and so with a simple 'See you soon Honey' they were off, leaving the 15 year old standing idly by her small collection of belongings.

Leo yawned, the montain of paperwork sitting nearby him seeming to amount itself even higher. It was truly traumitizing, the amount of paperwork the start of the year proclaimed. But regardless, even Miss Mignogna seemed to be coping better then ok with the paperwork, and that was something he definetly had to beat if he wanted to keep his post...

After a few more moments of frustrated thoughts Lana looked up and over towards Leo, the English teacher. "You alright over there? I can barely see you over that mountain." She giggled playfully, slowly standing up from her crimson-cushioned swivel-chair and skipping over. "You need some help?"

As her parents finally drove off and left her Debbie turned to look up at the manificant masonary of the school building. Now, she said to herself. Time to find the dorm again.
