Probably just taking favourites. Most the people on there aren't all that big on Final Fantasy, modern shooters, sports games. Actually most the games on that list.

If a game series doesn't have any more unanswered questions and/or its sequels can't rightfully expand on both the story and gameplay, it deserves to be put down. Some devs really don't get that.
I sorta have to agree with them on Kingdom Hearts, on the fact that it has had too many confusing spin-offs, and that SE should REALLY start focusing on KH3 already.

I'm surprised they didn't put MGS on there. Yeah, I love the series a lot, but there comes a point where devs really need to stop.
Plus Zone of The Enders 3 needs to be made already.

Why is it people have trouble following the story of KH? I can follow it just fine. And all those other games just add more depth to the story if you ask me. But they complained about Dynasty where you mash the X button, so they really should complain about Tekkan or Mortal Kombat, since they're practically the same thing

Ehhhh, not quite. Fighting games take more than just that button mashing.

It's not that I can't follow the story, it's just they're not needed.

Yeah, obviously mashing one button in a fighting games = Insta win. Go ahead and try it, and tell me your results. >_> Fighting games are a different matter, in the same way sports are. It's okay to make sequels out of those. The only reason Madden was there is because only EA makes those games, so there's really no competition. People like seeing new characters, graphics and moves in fighting games. There's a reason why no one nags about MK or Street Fighter.
Plus the last MK was goddamn amazing.

I don't hate Final Fantasy, however I did not like FF13. Let's face it, the series has been losing its touch for a long time, the last actually good game was X, and even that has its problems. And I have my own reasons for not liking FF13.

I've never found a fighting game that's actually any good. And besides, they have the DBZ Budokai's in there, so what the heck is the different between that and Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter?

Either way, A few games on there I don't think should go away since they're a good series. Except for Final Fantasy III, I've found no problems with the series, and Kingdom Hearts is fine the way it is, even with all the spin-offs

    Subjective.

Actually, they said that Budokai was a great fighting game. It's what came after that really sucked.
And see, the thing is that the DBZ Fighting Games is based off of the anime. It has set characters and story, and people don't really like it when devs start messing with those things for starters. It's impossible to expand on something of the sort without pissing someone of, or screwing it up. And it's always the same story over and over and over and over and over and ove-*shot*
Secondly, there's a difference between fighting games that have the same formula that works and those that go apeshit with its sequels. The Budokai series was the perfect DBZ Fighting games.

FFXII is amazing (maybe because I am bias and I just adore the game design put into it) In my personal opinion its the best looking FF game.

This should be a list of popular/good selling game franchises that need to die. I've seen plenty of **** game series that still spawn sequeals and the like that deserve it more then any of these.

Dawww, Dynasty Warriors... To be honest, DW7 and Warriors Orochi 3 are the best games they've released. They improve, but unfortunately slowly.

CoD needs to die out or change it up. Seriously, last five games are reskinned and tweaked versions of each other. Not worth it.
I like Halo, it's got potential still, but I think they should have waited a few more years before doing a trilogy.
Sport games in general need to die or slow down, what a waste.

never said the genre sucked. In fact, I gotta say Fighting games are pretty interesting, but they really aren't my type of game. I just don't like playing them. I somewhat enjoyed Budokai as a kid when they first came out because my brother played them with me, but after time past, I just didn't find them that fun anymore

My bad then. I just get defensive when it comes to the Fighting Games. It's the only genre that requires pure skill. Sure, button mashing works every once in a while, but try that **** on online mode and you're bound to fail, 99 times out of 100.
