Better yet, don't. I hate the "It's the Spam Zone. I'm allowed to hurt your feelings so I will" status quo mindset.

Anyway, freshman year of high school, in my opinion, should be used to get your bearings. Scope out organizations that you like, stay out of trouble and on top of your schooling, and by the time you're a sophomore, you should have a distinct path throughout your high school career.

Well that's how it is, and no amount of "hate the status quo mindset" will change that any time soon.

 

That's the problem, though. The ones who usually say "that's how it is" are the ones who are the meaner side of the spectrum. As in, they're defending their right to harass members. I'm not saying we should have some "Say something mean and get an infraction" rule, of course. I'm saying that when the same people keep harassing the same members, things get out of control (which they have before), then staff jumps in and the forum gets heated. If you don't like a certain member's posts for whatever reason, and you've kept pointing it out, and that member keeps feeling harassed (even if you're not harassing, though at least half of the times, you are), then just stop pointing it out. Ignore the member. It's doing more harm than good.

That's a general "you," not a specific, "you."

 

I've figured it out, Clawthecyclops has been doing the best Squall Leonheart impression ever since he joined the site.
