Fruits Basket: The new zodiac

Sai nodded and followed her, stopping in front of the house a bit unsure he took a deep breathe and followed.

 

Nai closed the door behind him, and called out into the house,
"Shigure-oji! Someone's here to see you."
Nai entered the living room,
where Shigure-san and Yuki-sama were having tea.

"Oh really?!" Shigure asked, exsited.(totally a ORLY? moment.)
"Who is it?"​

 

Walking in sai slightly bowed towards him "you may not know me and I may not know you but my name is Sai Sohma"Sai said looking at shigure.

 

Nai watched for Shigure's reaction.​

Shigure looked at him.
"Another member of the Zodiac, I presume?"​

 

Narrowing his eyes a bit, "Zodiac... you mean the Chinese Zodiac?"Sai said/asked with a raised eye brow.

 

I came out of the kitchen.

"Shigure, the strudel I made is done! I guess since you stopped pestering me, you ca-- who are they?"

I asked with mild intrest.

 

"Well, that's what you are, Sai-ox-san." Shigure hummed. (Shigure is all-knowing, the b*stard...-_-)
"Ah, Kan-chan! This is Sai-san, and my lovely granddaughter Nai! Nai, come sit next to Papa!" Shigure held out his arms.​

Nai waved kindly, and walked into her "Papa"'s arms.
"You really shouldn't tease guests, Otou-san...." Nai mused, sitting in his lap.​

 

"My Mother never told me about the zodiac or the fact that I was a part of it...it must have been my dad then...the Ox heh who wouldn't known...that explains a few things actually"Sai said crossing his arms thinking.

 

OOC: Damn, sorry gys! Final weeks of school arekilling me.

BIC: Eva sighed, holding the money. She climbed out the window, landing on the ground. "This will buy me dinner, at least." she muttered, stuffing it into her jean pocket.

"It's alright. I mean, Nai just now found out about being the rat." ^^ Shigure mused, petting Nai's head.​

Nai smiled weakly at Sai, before stretching. "Is dinner going to be made by someone, Otou-san? Or should I go ahead and start?"​

 

I popped my head out of the kitchen entrance.
"I'm making dinner! It's going to be miso soup, shrimp tempura, and salmon steak~!" After pausing for a second, I continued.

"I'm making strudel for desert!"

Shigure and Momiji gave a 'woot!'.

 

"Rei Rei do me a favor and bring those over to Shi for me I would go visit but im a bit busy" Reiya's mother Kagura said sweetly with a smile.

"Sure mom but you know there is no point giving him these books...he doesn't cook...but he is a novelist so he'll have to deal with it...i'll be back"She said as she put the books in a bag and leaving her house. With a smile she ran towards the house.


"No one told me about the Zodiac...I think my father was part of the Zodiac"Sai said tilting his head to the side a bit.

 

"He might've. I'm not telling~~~"
Shigure sang softly.​

Nai sighed, and nodded her head.
"He won't even tell me who my father is, the sneaky dog."
Nai huffed, and playfully smacked Shigure.

"How'd ya guess that I used to be the dog?!"

"Because you can't keep it in your pants, Papa."
Nai saw the look of shock upon her Papa's face.​

The door gets busted down suddenly, "SHIGURE IS UNGRATEFUL, HE SHOULD KEEP THE DOORS OPEN"Reiya yelled angrily. Walking into the room seeing other people she stopped in her tracks, smiling "Shi Shi mama sent these and she said to learn to cook and not waste your time with take out"She said with a smile.

"Hello Im Reiya Sohma...I'm guessing everyone here is a sohma am I right Shi Shi?"She said innocently.

 

Shigure sweat dropped.
"So--much--like--Kagura."​

"Ah. Shigure-Otou... you didn't tell me you did that kind of stuff! I thought I was your only offspring..."
Nai sighed jokingly.

"AREN'T YOU GOING TO INTRODUCE ME TO YOUR GUESS?"She said angrily as she was about to punch shigure but sai got in the way. Looked slightly shocked "what are you doing?"She asked.

Wincing feeling the impact of her punch, "I don't care what animal you are I can't allow you to attack randomly"Sai said as he stood up straight with a slight frown.

 

"Shigure smiled. "Oh, I like him!
Reiya, please don't break my house...."​

Nai smiled. "I'm Nai Sohma... It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Reiya."​

 

Eva sighed again, then went to a noodles stand and bought the cheapest ones she could, cradling the bowl in her hands.
