Fruits Basket: The new zodiac

Kangen popped her head out of the kitchen again.

"Guden tag Reiya! I'm Kangen! Nice to meet chu~ Do like strudel?"

 

Reiya looked at Kangen "Hiya yes I like strudel"She said skipping to where she was with a smile.


Sai gave out a bit of a sigh seeing her walk away. "now she is one to handle with care"he said with a chuckle.

 

Nai nodded.
"Miss Reiya... how do you know my Papa Shigure?"

ooc: yay!! Nai is like a younger girl version of yuki!!! xDDD​

 

Done with cooking, Kangen set the table and put out the food.

Looking around, she got the attention of everyone with a -albit LOUD- whistle.

"Everyone! Dinner is ready! Hurry up and eat, before it gets cold, and nien warm!"

OOC: >_^ I threw in 'nien'. It means 'no' or 'not'.

 

Reiya smiled "Well my mom Kgaura was the boar and when I was born I inherited that animal and mom would come over with me when I was small...mom was still after the cat but she stopped chasing after him...ever since she realized that she couldn't have the cat she stopped coming and sent me on her behalf...Does that answer your question"She asked with a smile.

 

Eva sighed, setting the empty bowl back. She would have to turn to other things for money...she shuddered, then began walking again.

 

Shigure was already at the table, about to munch on some salmon.

I then slapped his hand.... hard.

"NIEN! Shigure-nii, you don't eat until everyone's at the table! Not doing so is rude!"

 

Nai nodded.
"That's amazing. Sit with me."
Nai sat down at the table, patting the seat beside her.​

 

Smiling reiya followed draggin sai along by his hand, sitting next her she pulled sai down as well. "Oh Wow this all looks great"She said with a smile.

"Hey Hey Hey let go of me you crazy woman...Don't pull too hard arg"Sai frowned as he was dragged. Sitting cross legged he pouted a bit.

 

Sitting down at the table, Kangen started to pass out the chop-sticks.

"Eat up! I hope you all like it!"

Kangen playfully glared at Shigure, who was nursing his slapped hand.

 

Sai sighed before sitting down,smiling he looked at the food.

"This actually looks good"He said with awe.

 

OOC: Haha. 'Sai sighed'.

Kangen sat down and ate some miso soup for herself.

"Thank you, Sai."

Sai nodded as he began eating. Looking around he couldn't help but smile feeling a bit more comfortable.

 

Nai smiled politely.
"Thank you for cooking, Miss Kangen. I'm sure are bellies will be full.
Itadakimasu!"
Nai clapped her hands, and opened her chop-sticks.​

 

With a smile, Kangen replied.

"Sie sind willkommen!"
(You're very welcome!)

With a smile, she also added: "I'm honored!"

 

"now now sai EVERYONE MUST HAVE ATLEAST ONE ROUND BEFORE YOU GET SECONDS"she said/yelled throwing a punch at him which caught him off guard hitting him in the chest, Blinking her eyes she ran to him.

"Sai what happen? did you hurt yourself?"She asked with concern.

Sitting up sai's eyes changed a bit as a smirk appeared on his face, standing up he cracked his neck.

"you really didn't want to do that"He said in calm voice.

 

Kangen sighed.

"Shigure, I know what you're gonna say next, so don't go there, let me. Guys, please don't break his house."

Kangen then went back to eating miso soup.

 

"sheesh Rei I haven't eaten in a week"Sai said looking away with a sigh.

 

Nai smiled gently.
"I'm sure Miss Kangen will let you take left-overs home. That reminders me, though.
Sai-san.. were are you staying?"
Nai gently questioned.

Tensing for a bit he looked away.

"don't worry a bout it...I got a place close by here"He said quietly.
