Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood Premieres on Adult Swim This Saturday (February 13)

For me, it's on at 12 and 4, so it's probably 1 and 5 for you.

Episode 2 is now up for streaming on Funimation's Youtube channel. Looks like they might be uploading the whole series, just like with the subs, but it's too early to tell. Either way, I'm buying the DVD's :P

Mmm. I probably would've done that if they were releasing them in individual DVD's, since it's such a long series, but since they are starting out with box sets already, I figure I should just go for it. Plus, Amazon.com has it for like $30 right now, which is a pretty good deal. But yes, you could definitely save money by waiting for the bigger packs.

 

I did :D I haven't heard him in any other roles, so that didn't affect me. Actually, that was almost exactly what I pictured Ling to sound like when I read that part of the manga. I imagined it a little bit more like Shigure from Fruits Basket, but that was pretty freaking close.

I thought May was kind of unnaturally high-pitched, but I guess the Japanese version is too =_= Lan Fan and Fu were also very good.

 

Quite a fitting announcement for Father's Day. John Swasey will be voicing Hohenheim in this series. Though it's not the present I wanted, I suppose it's the thought that counts. Let's hope he can fill Scott McNeil's epicness shoes :)

Oh yeah, and amazing performances by Colleen Clinkenbeard and Laura Bailey, and I can't help but notice that Maxey Whitehead is improving, in both acting quality and in sounding like a boy. Best episode thus far, and I'm feeling more hopeful now that this show can compare with or surpass the first one. Next week's episode marks the start of all new stuff for me, because I stopped reading FMA after Volume 10. I'm excited to see what happens next :P
