Future of Naruto

Kammi looked over at Hiruto, then back at her Sensei. "Thank you. Hey Kazuki, catch!" she tossed him the bell. "You made it possible for me to get the bell, so it's only fair that you have one." Kammi felted sort of bad. The only thing really really did was a fireball attack, nothing else. It was like she held back or something. She thought Hiruto deserved the bell more then she did.

 

"Well, see you guys later." he said, starting to walk away.

 

"Where are you going?" Kazuki said catching the bell, "Thanks I guess"

"Don't you want any food, you already proved the three of you can work as a team it may not have been the most equal teamwork but it was good enough for a start" Daisuke said, "You all passed in other words"

 

"Alright." he said, walking back over to them.

 

She smiled and then looked at Hiruto. "Alright! Our squad past the test!" She felt happy, she really did. Something was just nagging her. You could have done better or You held back too much echoed in her mind. Kammi decide to ignore those thoughts for now.

 

"I wonder if the spectator would like to join us?" he asked trying to make sure Rukia could hear

 

"Yup." he said. "We all did great. If it wasn't for your strategies Kammi, we would be nowhere."

 

Kammi was surprised by that comment. She blushed slightly. "It was nothing really..." Then she heard what her Sensei said. Spectator? Her eyes suddenly went wide when she finally realized she could sense her older sister's presence. Rukia was probably watching the whole time. She groaned quietly. No wonder why she was holding back!

 

"Don't be so modest!" he said, smiling. "You were amazing! Just as good as Shikamaru I bet!"

 

Rukia flipped out of the tree to land by the group. "Not bad." She complimented after giving Daisuke a slight bow of her head. "Kammi, why did you hold back?"

 

Kammi was wide eyed when Rukia finally came out of hiding. She quickly recovered and muttered, "I don't know... I just did..." She knew she was going to probably tell their dad. Great... more training ahead of me until the sun rises. Of course, that was an exaggeration.

 

"You've got to do more if you want to be useful in anyway," Rukia said emtionlessly.

 

"She was plenty useful!" he said. "It was her plans that brought us success!"

 

Rukia stared coldly at Hiruto. "Do not speak of things you don't understand."

 

"All that matters is that we succeeded. You should be proud of her." he said, sticking up for his friend.

 

Kammi looked down a little. "No... it's okay Hiruto." She looked up at Daiskue. "Daiskue Sensei, thank you for the training and the dinner offer, but I should be heading home." She bowed. "Thank you again." She turned and started to walk off to an unknown direction. She didn't want to go home just yet. Her mood always changed when her sister was around. It almost changed to like her dad's exact mood.

 

"That must be the Uchiha's pride showing" Kazuki commented

"Oh no problem" Daisuke said smiling a little

 

Rukia followed her sister without a word to the others, but she did give a cold glare to Kazuki. "I only want you to be the best you can be." She said quietly. "I got to where I am now because of hard work, not sitting on the sidelines. You should do the same."

 

Kammi glanced to the ground. "I know..." she said very quietly. "I'll try harder next time." Those words just came automatically every time her sister gave her this kind of a lecture. She was barely aware that she even said it.

 

"But..." he started. Then he sighed. She should really stand up to her sister. he thought.
