Kammi looked up again when the door opened. She smiled. "Hey Hiruto."

 

"Hey." he said, smiling. "How are you doing?" He walked over to the bed and sat at the end of it.

 

Kammi shrugged her shoulders. "Doing okay I guess. How are you doing?"

 

"I'm alright. I've been thinking about you, though." he said, blushing a little.

 

Kammi blushed a little too. "Same here..." she gave a small smile.

 

He smiled and sat closer to her, near the middle of the bed.

 

Kammi looked up at Hiruto. "Hiruto..." She chuckled. "You sure rushed into how you felt about me earlier today...."

 

"Sorry." he said, blushing a bit more. "I just really like you."

 

Kammi closed her eyes and smiled. Then she opened them again. "I can tell... my mom kind of chewed me out after you left though..."

 

"I'm sorry about that." he said, looking down. "It's my fault."

 

Kammi felt something tug in her heart. She leaned over the best she could and touched Hiruto's arm lightly. She was about to say it was okay, but it wasn't okay. She knew things like that shouldn't be rushed and... it was just... different to her.

 

Hiruto kissed her on the cheek and got up. "I should probably go now." he said.

 

Kammi dropped her arm, her smile kind of faded. "Already?" She looked up at him.

OOC: Oooooh! *sniffs* Sorry... reading Naruto manga. Now I know how Kakashi got his sharingun.... *sniffs* It's sad...

 

"Unless you want me to stay." he said.

 

Her smile sort of returned. "Yes please..." She looked up at Hiruto. "Did... anything interesting happen over the last few hours?"

 

He sat back down and said "I met the son of the Kazekage, Gaara. He's going to be a part of a squad here. He isn't too bad of a guy."

 

Kammi grinned. "Son of Gaara? Wow... here in the village too. That's something special." She leaned against the bed frame.

 

"Yeah. And he's almost as good as me at eating ramen." he said.
