Genetics curse

She cried out, still keeping it up. Her shoulders hurt and her hands turned a crimson shade of strain. She wouldn't let her home be destroyed.

 

He roared in anger and slammed his tail against it again.

 

She cried out again. The barrier went in and out. She didn't know how much more she could take. She was getting weaker. This was only her 2nd time keeping up a barrier.
"Stop!" she cried out.

 

He heard her and clutched his head, roaring in pain.

 

She looked up and hear him. She was breathing hard. She fell to her knee's.

 

He changed back into human form and fell from the sky.

 

She looked up and saw him fall. She gasped and stood up, holding her hands out. She made a barrier around him, holding him in the air. She gently brought him down to the ground, ten feet in front of her. She breathed hard, her head aching and her shoulders protesting in pain.

 

He was out cold and naked, since all his clothes got ripped up when he changed.

Jessica kept breathing hard.
"It's him.. From earlier," she whispered to herself. She took a step forward and lifted him up in the barrier. It was like some sort of Telekinesis. She somehow got him to her house in her room quickly. Her running skills have improved. She set him in her bedroom, with a clean set of clothes next to him. She walked in her kitchen, to make some herbal tea.

 

He rolled on his side, fast asleep now. His body was sore from the energy he used and the transformation.

 

Jessica went downstairs to her basement. Her house was rather large, not just your average apartment. Her parents left her alot of money when they died. Her basement was underground, very far. It was as large as a gymnasium. Height width, and length. It was here where she would train herself. She set up a tennis ball launcher and ran to the other side of the gym. The balls started shooting out, and she pulled her barrier out. It was hard to deflect just those. She took the pain though. On the last one, instead of deflecting, she tried to catch it with telekinesis. She couldn't catch it and it hit her shoulder.
"Shoot," she muttered.

 

Kuroh started waking up.

 

She took a breather and got a bottled water, taking a break. She put a towel around her neck and walked upstairs to her living room. She sat on the couch and watched a little t.v, waiting for Kuroh to wake up.

 

He sat up in bed and looked around. "Where am I? The last thing I remember is changing."

 

She turned off the T.V after getting rested.
"I better go check on that guy," she said. She stood up and walked up to the closed room. She knocked on the door.
"You awake?" she asked.

 

"Yeah." he said. "Where am I? And who are you?"

 

He walked dreamily along through the city with his head down,under his cloak.He looked around at all the people, little did they know that there was another world there,one they couldn't see...that of the ghosts going past and through them, all those who had something left to say or do.He talked to one by a skyscraper and he said "i saw some people fighting at the edge of the city and are just gone" and at this he summoned the ghost of a person passed who could lead him to the people with the hero gene.He followed the ghost to come to large house and he jumped in the window of the place after which he thanked the ghost.He saw the guy in the bed and sat against the window his face covered by his cloak."Hello, my name is gray.I see you have the hero gene too, whats your power?" he asked.

 

She smiled.
"I'm Jessica, you're in my bedroom. I put some clothes next to the bed for you," she said. She sat against the wall by the door.
