    ~.:{Spoilers}:.~

Yea, pretty much she hanged herself over a failed myspace relationship. Turns out the person on the other end of the internet was the mother of a friend of that suicide girl who wanted to know what the chick was saying of her daughter.

Yeah, I heard about this. Its kinda sad because that mother technically caused the girl's death, but she cant be charged because it was suicide.

I feel bad for the girl but in the end I also have to say that the parents should have done a better job of encouraging her to make 'real life' friends instead of being on Myspace, which she should not have been on in the first place. I could see someone younger than 14 being on there but really...they should have an account that only allows 'friends' by the parents then. It's a nasty trick on the part of the other mother, because she created 'Josh' and she should obviously feel more guilty than she does too, but we can't force that sort of thing.

The parents of Megan are attempting to get more strict laws attached to the internet etc for harassment and all, but in the end, they violated the 'law' of Myspace allowing this girl on there in the first place. The girl also had a state of depression and some other disorders that would suggest to me that she should not have been on myspace flirting with a boy any way. This is very sad and all but in seriousness, without placing blame on 'anyone' really nothing can be done. The parents becoming activists now is just plain ironic when they were defying a rule that was obviously there for a reason.

Even though it was cruel joke, that girl was still stupid enough to take things to the extreme over an "internet relationship".

    Unbelievable.

this is why myspace sucks. the mother...is a dumbass >.>
she should not have said that. gosh. who says that to someone?

wtf... look, have you ever been in that position? she probably told him all her secrets, and he tells her shes a effed up person. she obviously thought that she was. Don't judge her...

Sadly I agree. Then again, I believe anyone who resorts to suicide is an idiot...

I feel really bad for her. First of all, she shouldn't have been on myspace in the first place, and if she really wanted one, she should have set up a private account and allowed only real life friends to befriend her. If her parents were closely monitoring her on the computer, why did they let her flirt with some strange boy online? I think it's terrible that she killed herself over this, though I'm sure some of her mental issues may have contributed to it as well. As for the mother who created Josh Evans, what a rotten thing to do. Even if the girl shouldn't have been on myspace in the first place, the woman should feel at least a little remorse, especially for calling her fat and everything. What a jerk.

Wow. Not sure if "pwned" is the right choice of words though. xD

I guess it shows how gullible people can get. XD

I think it's the perfect word.

    1. She's an idiot for commiting suicide. I hate that. Fail.
    2. She was online dating which is even more fail.
    3. She commited suicide over an online relationship. Epic fail.
    4. The person wasn't even a guy, it was the mother of her friend who wanted to know if she was trash talking her daughter. That is pwnage.
