Goku vs. Superman

The infamy and fame of both are pitted against each other, both have immense power, and only one can survive.

Who do you think would win this battle? Super Saiyan 4 Goku? Or logic defying, space traveling Superman?


In my opinion, Superman would probably be able to win. Why? Well absolutely not because of his super awesome sun technique thing which I forgot the name of.

How this can be intelligent? It should be in the anime section i think.

As for your question i'd have to disagree. Why? Well Superman is something like an immortal. He is not, but he can live for thousands of years. On the other hand Sogoku cannot live that long but he can return to life because of the dragon balls. So in the life thing i think Goku is the winner. Think of it. How many times he has been in heaven and then he was ressurected? Many times.

Now if they had to battle, im not sure about the result. Superman has a steel like body but Goku has many powerfull abilities like the "kameh kameh" which can destroy an entire planet. Also Superman can run at the speed of sound but then again Goku can teleport himshelf quite fast. Interesting and tough to decide.

I think it would be a tie or Goku would be the winner.

 

If we consider all possibilities, I'd say Goku would win.

Why?

Take away the sun. Superman's screwed.

Hell, Batman almost beat Superman because he knew that. lol.

Goku would win, since he can destroy planets in an instant. Though both are insanly powerful. >_>

 

Super man can survive in space, however.

Goku has no real way of destroying the sun. Super man could easily refract any of Goku's energy blasts to the sun in an attempt to destroy it. Superman's sun dive would take out Earth in an instant. Goku wouldn't even have time to react. :/

The only way I'd see it as a tie is because Goku & Superman constantly take forever to use their common attacks.

 

Batman didn't destroy the sun either. He simply clouded the skies so that no light could ever penetrate. Upon doing this, Superman's abilities become as nullified as they do when he comes in contact with Kryptonite.

My biggest defense is that Batman actually defeated Superman, but didn't kill him. If *Batman* could do that, Goku could manage the same a lot more easily.

And Saiyajins can survive in space as well. In the Bardock special, Bardock and several Saiyajins confronted Frieza in actual space, right before Frieza blew up the planet. lol

 

This is in no way intelligent discussion. Because, pointedly, both of them defy the laws of physics. End of discussion.

But I suppose the man of steel might somehow survive if somehow Goku blew up the planet.

 

So? It's not like he can't just go right above the clouds and do it. And I'm sure Goku wouldn't be familiar with Superman's weaknesses. And vice versa.

Yeah, but those are muuuuch older comics/movies. Current Generation Superman wouldn't be quite as gullibe.... ¯\(°_o)/¯

Superman requires his powers to 'fly' above said clouds. But if the sun is blocked out, he can't fly anymore. Well I did say if we considered *all* possibilities. Because if we're going to debate a winner, all aspects need to be taken into account. And cheaply enough, Goku has no real weakness other than his love for the human race--which is equally Superman's weakness.

Goku can definitely do that since he's full-blooded saiyajin, therefore making him no different genetically from his father, Bardock. Even Gohan, who's a half saiyajin, can breathe in space! In the 2nd DBZ movie: The World's Strongest, Gohan and Piccolo literally fly out of Earth's orbit and engage Dr. Wheelo in space to create a diversion for Goku as he powered up his Spirit Bomb.

Goku, Reg goku is much stronger then superman.. so we dont even have to go into his ssj transformations.

 

isnt super weak against energy attacks?

if thats the case then goku could win cuz most of his strong attacks seem to be energy related

Dragon Ball Z series is what I think hooked me on anime....

But Superman is also awesome!!!
(Even if all his video games stink...)
