    Ms Nixon walked down a silent hallway, her high heels making the clamp sound breaking the silence. She took a key out of her purse and opened up the door using the key, then turning on the lights as she walked in, the door closing behind her. She walked over to her desk and put her purse in a drawer, locking the door shut. She opened up a drawer, and much leftover paperwork from last year sat in there, collecting dust. She slammed it shut, not in the mood for paperwork. She stood up and walked through the rows of desks, making sure nothing was out of order. In the back row the one in the right corner had 'CARTER' carved onto the seat and desk. She made a fist, her knuckles turning white with anger. Damage to school property, Carter was lucky she didn't call the police. Then she started making a list of all the people she would most likely see today, Definitely Carter, oh yes, and that other boy too, can't forget that foolish girl. Probably a few new comers. Just not another mouse, I already have to deal with one of those pests. Then she walked out into the hallway, but locking the door behind her just incase, and went off to patrol the halls.

    "My, my, still alive? And no trace of purple I see!" Neko squealed as he clapped his hands at Flynn. With two swipes of his feet, Neko sent his bags flying into the room. "So you decided to breathe after all, good for you!" Not paying attention to where his bags landed, Neko jumped into the room, landing on all fours and kicked off the ground so he was standing on his hands. "Though a shade of purple would look fine on you, or maybe....something a little blue?" At the word "blue," Neko started to float in the air, still upside down, and approached the other student. "So does this mean what I think it means? You're my roommate, it seems. News like that sure makes me beam!" And with that last rhyme, Neko's face stretched into that unnatural grin as his body rotated rightside up.

    A man cloaked in blue sat in a tall chair. His eyes narrowed as they scanned the room. In front of him, a large teacher's desk was filled with folders, books, and papers; somewhere in them he knew were his rosters for the new semester at Grimm's. Beyond his desk, rows of desks were lined up neatly, all traces of scratches and writing have been magically removed. It was a typical, modern classroom. "This won't do at all!" Professor Sid exclaimed as he slammed his hands onto his desk. "I'll have to fix these, post-haste!" His voice was gruff and stern, but a smile was fighting to escape his mouth. He stood up and picked a star-ridden hat off of his desk before slowly placing it on his unkempt black hair.

    Carter glanced at his watch once more, this time his shoulders slumped. "Aww man I should probably head to class now, doesn't hurt to be a bit early on his first day. "Lets see..." he muttered as he sat down on his bed, picking up his schedule that laid on the drawer right next to his bed. He put his head in his hand as he read, "Magic first." he groaned, getting up and stuffing the schedule in his pocket. He pick up his binder, a few books, a pencil, and a pen, all tucked in under one arm. "Heres to the start of a terrible school year.." he muttered, straightening his hat with his free hand and walking out, patting his pocket to double check he had his key. As he walked he found a friend from last year, and they started playfully body slamming each other as a greeting, and Carter got slammed into the locker several times."No messing around in the hallways. It's your first day of school, at least have some manners. Detention, both of you." Ms. Nixon spat, quickly stomping away after another kid that was beating up a new student.Carters friend started having a semi-panic attack and waved, hurrying off toward his class. But Carter was not the least bit surprised. After all, why should he? He's been in detention ever since his 2nd day of school, many years ago. Carter flicked his tail as he continued to walk, Nothing different, just an average school year. he assured himself with a sigh.

    Is this guy for real? Flynn faked a smile, scratching the back of his head as he watched the antics of his new roommate. He had magic alright. Something Flynn wasn't too comfortable around as he had none of his own. "I wish you'd speak a little more straightforward. I'd follow you a lot easier if you weren't so..." Flynn trailed off as he stepped back away from Neko. A part of him wondered if Neko would try painting him at night with all the mentions of "blue" and "purple". He had never been any shade of blue in his life and he wasn't going to change that now. "My name's Flynn." He said, wanting to keep the subject away from colors. "And what yours be?" And please don't tell me the name of a color... He added in his head.

    "Mm-hm!" the little boy said with a nod, smiling up at Morgan. At least his friend wasn't going to leave him behind, and getting early to class sounded like a very, very good idea to him. He checked to make sure he had everything, including his room key, and then stood by the door as he waited patiently for Morgan to open it and lead the way to their first class. "What's magic class like?" Peter asked with eager curiousity as he looked at Morgan with shining eyes. Although he wasn't at all good at it, or he wasn't sure if he was, he was still interested in it. Weapons class seemed so far away for him, but he decided he would have to deal with it for the time being. Besides, it would give him time to make new friends and get to know the school a little more.

    Natasha chuckled under her breath when Gracie suddenly rained down many questions on her. She didn't mind them though, it was the way you were suppose to get to know people, right? Natasha pulled out a notebook from her drawer with a pencil case and then shut it as she sat the supplies on her lap. "Yup! It's my first time here. My first class is magic..." Natasha trailed off, looking at her family picture. "And only my mom," Natasha said in a quiet tone, feeling the sadness trying swell up inside her again. "But my dad seems pretty far away... Sometimes I think he's dead on the inside..." Natasha harshly sighed out and then stood up from her bed with her school supplies together. She was suddenly back to her happy self and smiled at Gracie. "So, ready to start the new school year?"

    ~~~~~~
    "Atteniton all students," the loud speaker pipped up, echoing in every room, outside, and every hallway. "We will begin our new year of Grimm's Cadet Academy in fifteen minutes. Please report to your first class, and then we will have morning announcements and welcoming introductions. Thank you!"
    "I-I'm so sorry to hear that," Gracie admitted. The girl pulled out her schedule. "I have magic next too!" Gracie smiled, the sadness finally leaving her. She put the neatly folded piece of paper in her dress pocket. She twirled, her white dress spinning gracefully. She was so happy, knowing that she already had a friend on her first day. Gosh, how she felt like a new student again. All her old friends left the school last year. Gracie checked her other pocket, feeling her dorm key. She let out a sigh of relief. She opened the door and straightened her bow. "Ready to go?" the girl said with an even bigger smile.
    Carter sighed, realizing he forgot something. He slowly walked back to his room, not in any rush whatsoever. He casually opened up his door and stepped inside, sitting down on his bed, trying to remember what he forgot. He then remembered and threw up the backpack from under his bed, taking out a paper clip, which most people would find pretty useless. But to the grinning Carter it was more than that, it was a key to every room in the school. He put it in his other pocket and headed out again, slamming the door behind him and walking very slowly to class, not very eager to do magic. Or anything for that matter.
    He walked into the courtyard as if it was a beast ready to devour him. A bag was slung over his shoulder and his eyes were wide, the paranoid eyes that flicked around the place as if everyone was staring at him. His grayish-black hair, tinged with craggy shoots of brown, moved gently in the wind as he swiftly walked through the courtyard. Headphones rested in his ears, playing some music as one of his hands was shoved into his pocket, the other one nervously it's thumb against it's index, middle, ring, pinky finger again and again. He mouthed the words to the song to himself, his brown t-shirt a little frayed at the hems but still good nonetheless as it covered his lithe, 5'10" form. Keep me clo-ser, I'm a la-zy dancer... Sure, he could sing and talk well in his mind. That was great. He sure couldn't do so in real life, that's for sure. In his mind, he could do anything. He imagined him disappearing and reappearing in his dorm room, bypassing the deadly risk of anyone daring to talk to him. His back was weighed down by a black satchel he wore strangely, pencil sticking out of a hole in one of the pockets. His pants shifted, as did his painted Converse, as he swiftly padded through the courtyard, towards his dorm building. So far, no one had dared to talk to him. That was good. No one had noticed him, hopefully. His zebra-painted headphones (he'd done them himself) shifting gently with the hurried steps he was taking. Fishing out the key from his pocket that he'd recieved when he got in the school, he heard the announcement! Fifteen minutes! He began breathing hard, fidgeting with his key in his dorm when he realized it was the wrong door. Oops. He scampered over to his, nearly face-planting in the process as he slipped in and slammed the door shut. He fumbled with shaking hands for his tea thermos in his satchel and brought it out, taking a draught of the stuff to calm himself down. "C..Calm...Calm...Calm..." He whispered to himself again, focusing on his music before he turned it off and stuffed the player in his back pocket. "Magic. Go. Go to magic right now." He ordered himself and he obeyed, taking the thermos, along with his backpack, out of the room with him. He looked nervous, like someone was watching him, and he peeked around and habitually tugged on a loose quet of his loose, crazy-looking hair. He ignored everyone on his way to the magic class, slipping between people and between people and whatever he needed, eyes plastered on the ground in front of him. He arrived before long, trying to worm his way in and find a seat near the back without anyone seeing him. Perhaps this would be a good year.
    What a weird looking kid. The wolf was walking towards his dorm when he was cut off by a scampering little guy that reminded him of a mouse or a jackrabbit or something; he was twitchy and he looked like he was running from something. Out of habit, the 6'5" boy, tall for his age because of an unfortunate condition, looked in the trail of the rabbitboy and didn't see anything. He shrugged and gave the sky a small smile, tapping his fingers on his jeans as he gently walked along to the slow beat of his music, looking very...calm. He was happy today, he got to go to a new place; he always enjoyed the prospect of new places and how he could make his imprint. He got in his dorm and immediately breathed in the air inside, familiarizing himself with the scent and flopping onto the bed. He smiled and rolled on it a little bit before he heard the announcement, nodding to himself. His black t-shirt and gray shorts ruffled in a bit in the temperature change between the dorm and the outside, the man clutching his backpack in one hand as he walked towards, behind that scampering boy, towards magic. Though he didn't look like it, the combat-boot adorned werewolf liked magic, poetry, that kind of thing. He wasn't one for...sports, per-se. He yawned as he approached the door, inadvertantly showing off his pearly white fangs as he wiped his eyes, a little tired from his late night last night. Those eyes, nearly white and earthy brown, flicked around the room until gravitated towards a seat near the window, imagining the nice, radiant cold that would be coming from it in the winter. Perhaps this would be a good year.
    "Jabberwocky!" Neko squealed as he fell to the ground. He quickly waved his left hand, bent it in front of his stomach, and bowed. "Though I'm quite fond of the name 'Neko.' I'm also known to answer to other names such as Celio Angelo du Nuvola, Jamesdukehollingsworthjuniorthesecond (all one word, mind you), and Valentinez Alkalinella Xifax Sicidabohertz Gombigobilla Blue Stradivari Talentrent Pierre Andri Charton-Haymoss Ivanovici Baldeus George Doitzel Kaiser III," he said the "III" as "Eye-eye-eye. Neko proceeded to do a backflip upon hearing the loudspeaker and reached into his bag. "Aha~" He pulled out a piece of paper. "Sally the schedule tells me I have Magic class first. My favorite of them all~" he started smile his signature grin as the body below his neck disappeared, leaving only a head and scarf. "I don't know what you mean, I do talk straightforward, Sir Flynn! I've never said a curvedbackwards thing in my life!" The scarf and face was gone, leaving only green eyes and his curved grin which were floating towards the door. On his way out, the backpack he passed seemingly disappeared. "I sure got stuck with an odd roommate!" He sang as his eyes and smile disappeared around the corner.
    Professor Sid was no longer in the classroom, but something was still going on. Pieces of chalk were floating, writing several things on the board in strange symbols. All of the student desks were walking around, pairing up, and merging into one large wooden desk without any chairs. The books in the room were simply floating about, waiting for something to do as the bookshelves turned into large cabinets. Any moment now the first group of students should be walking in.
    "Hmm..." Morgan pondered over the question, deciding to walk and talk for now. So he went to the door and exited the room, awaiting Peter to follow and lock the door behind him. Once they were out he would speak again, saying; "Well, it's rather fun. The teacher is rather nice. I mean, he's serious, but I think he's found some of my past jokes funny. Oh?" Morgan tilted his head back upon hearing the announcements. It seemed like they have picked the perfect time to head to class. It made him feel rather smug to be on time. While looking around he saw others heading to their classes, some in the way to magic class and only a few faces he knew of.
    Carter finally, and sadly arrived at Magic class. He walked without hesitation straight toward the back, but there was no desk there. He sighed and put down his bacpack on chair in the back right corner, trying to go grab one of the desks. He pulled at it and after a while it finally decided to go with him. He set down the desk right next to his chair and threw his backpack under the chair, leaving only his pen in his hand. He knelled back a little bit in his chair, and when he finally decided to open his eyes completely and not just halfway he saw that he was pretty much the only one there, except for a few other scattered students at the door. Carter put all four legs of the chair back onto the floor and sunk into his chair a little bit, putting his feet up on one of the poles connecting two legs of the desk, which he could barely reach considering his small size. He was practically counting down the hours to weapons class, considering it was the only almost interesting subject. He closed his eyes and knelt his head back against the chair, drifting off not into sleep, but just resting. He would probably open his eyes once the bell rang though, considering it was still his first day of school and he already landed detention for 'not respecting other peers.'
    Peter hurried along with his stubby, little legs to keep up with Morgan's long legs as they walked down the hallway. Hearing the announcement was a bit suddenly for him and he squeaked as he jumped, but then realized he wasn't in real harm. Peter sighed out in relief and then picked up the pace to catch up to his friend, happy that they were going to arrive on time to their first class. "Okay, just as long as he isn't mean," Peter said with a smile as he looked around the school, trying to memorize his way around already.
    "Yup!" Natasha stepped outside the dorm, leading the way down the hallway down to class. She had a map out in front of her, and then after a while, she figured that Gracie should probably lead the way. She turned around to look for her friend, walking backwards as she waited. "I guess you should lead!" Natasha said with a laugh. "I really have no idea where I'm-" Suddenly, Natasha felt herself bump into something and felt herself go off balance for a bit. "Whoops!" Natasha quickly caught herself, just in time to hear something crash behind her. Her eyes widen as she stood there frozen, hearing something break into a million peices on the tile of the floor. Her head quickly spun around as she scanned the damage she'd done with her carelessness and felt her heart sink; there in front of her and scattered across the tile floor was pieces of the replica of the academy made of ginger bread... Or that's what it once was before Natasha bumped it off the table. The poor girl felt dread swell up inside of her as she just stared at what she had done. Could she fix this? No, no, it was impossible now. What was she suppose to do?!
    "WHAT IS ALL OF THIS RACKET?!" a thunderous femine voice sounded from the cafeteria. The noise of clicking high heels warned all students who were standing around gawking to desperse and run for their lives. The monster from the cafeteria was coming out.
    Ms. Nixon finally finished dealing with the older student who beat up the little child, ending it off by giving the older one a nice ticket to detention. This was what she always kept handy with her, since students were so, what was the word..irresponsible. The students going off to class gave Ms. Nixon space, her high heels on tile as intimidating as her personality. As she walked past the cafeteria she heard Miss Crimpton shouting, or at least that's what it sounded like to Ms. Nixon. She rounded a corner and her eyes went wide, and her fists clenched tightly. Somebody knocked down the ginger bread replica of the academy. Ms. Nixon didn't care who made it in the first place, but her dark eyes immediately moved in toward Natasha. Ms. Nixon stormed over toward Natasha, and kept her voice at regular volume, but much anger was put into it through her clutched teeth,"Explain. This." she pointed at the ruined replica, but kept her eyes locked onto Natasha.
    Gracie chuckled. "I guess I should lead the way the-" the girl almost finished saying as she heard a whoops! Suddenly, she heard a bam! and stared at the floor. Natasha had broken the gingerbread school replica! Gracie dropped her parasol, her body unable to move. Then she heard the click of high heels from around the corner. "Oh no!" she thought as she saw Ms. Nixon come into view. She saw Ms. Nixon clench her fists and gulped. As Ms. Nixon was yelling at Natasha, Gracie backed up and ran towards the replica, hoping she could fix it and save Natasha from a long lecture and detention.
    Nixon and Crimpton? Two of the teachers who hate me most... And the seem in a pretty foul mood... He was all ready to flee the scene as fast as possible but then saw the girl who had knocked it down. Sure it was an accident, but he just knew she would get more punishment than she deserved. With a sigh and unbuttoned the deck holder on his leg with a single finger and the moment the thing was open the cards inside flew out, but remained near the ground and out of sight.
    "Yo, Miss Nixon! Long time no see!" He walked over to the cruel teacher and stood next to her. He then placed his arm on her shoulder like some friend of hers and smiled widely. "I see you're in quite the situation here. So, explain this you say?" He looked over his shoulder to look at the ruined ginger bread house and placed his free hand on his chin. "Looks like a ginger bread house to me. Though, can't say it's the best one I've ever seen. Seriously, it could use a make-over."
    By now his other hand was behind his back and when Nixon's attention would turn on him it would gesture for the girl to run for it whenever she was able to.
    Miss Nixon growled deep in her throat, her ears ringing, but she refused to look away from Natasha. He knew what Morgan was trying to pull,"Morgan, just go to class, you can't help your little friend out of this one." she spat, taking a quick glance at Morgan. Miss Nixon felt the arm on her and slapped it away, stamping and turning toward Morgan,"That's it! Detention!" she shouted at him.
    -
    Carter quickly sat up, unfolding his legs off the desk. He was the only one in the classroom, and he heard a kid was going to detention today. Miss Nixon! My greatest friend, who do you bring to me? he thought, standing up and running out of the classroom, toward Miss Nixon. He saw Morgan, and gave him a wink and mouthed See you in detention. He then walked foward, but held back a few feet, a smirk on his face.
    Morgan frowned at Nixon's reply. She was never any fun. Then suddenly his cards flew up before him. "Well, I don't even know the girl. But how about a little bet?" As he spoke the cards landed in one of his hands and then flew to the other, shuffling themselves while doing so. "It'd be a simple bet! Win and I'll never question your dentition again nor will I get involved. Lose, and then we're detention free for a week! Come on, that sounds fair, doesn't it?" He asked, smirking when he saw Carter give him a wink.
    ooc - hope no one minds me posting ahead of everyone else... I shall wait from now on.
    Peter hung back as he watched the scene unfold before him, not sure what was happening... but he could see that the girl was in trouble, the scattered gingerbread told him so. It seemed like Morgan was handling the situation, or at least attempting to anyways.
    Natasha didn't even get a chance to explain herself at all to Miss Nixion, which seemed rather unfair to her. But she dealt with this kind of unfairness before, right? At home... She could deal with it now, besides, it was her fault she wasn't looking where she was going... but it seemed like this guy in front of her wasn't going to put up with it. But why? Deep down inside though, she was grateful that someone was here to try to get her out of it despite how impossible it seemed to be able to do it. Then she suddenly heard the footsteps of the monster of the kitchen suddenly grow louder and then stopped. Natasha quickly looked over to the doorway of the cafeteria and then almost regretted it.
    Miss Crimpton was standing there, her hair slightly on the wild side. She was standing there in shock, seeing that her beloved gingerbread house was in ruins on the floor. A blond girl was trying to pick up the pieces and salvage what was left, which then formed Miss Crimpton's own version of what happened in her head. "YOU!" she screamed, pointing a finger at Gracie. "YOU WERE THE ONE WHO DID THIS!" Her face was red as she clentched her fists, letting the anger build up inside of her as she started to march over to the unfortunate innocent girl.
    Natasha felt herself beginning to shut down inside when she heard Miss Crimpton's voice booming around her and then realized subconciously what was about to unfold before her; her new friend was being blamed for something she did. She didn't want someone else to take the blow for her. "NO!" Natasha didn't even feel her own feet move, but the next moment she found herself standing in front of the dragon and arms stretched out on either side of her as to protect Gracie from the uncertainty. "I did it! Not her! Not her..." She slowly looked up at Miss Crimpton, almost feeling like she was turning into stone by those firey eyes. "I ran into it, it fell on the floor-"
    "Lies little mousy, lies. You probably decided to take a little nibble nibble on my house and then this happened, you and your friend, huh?" Miss Crimpton then leaned dangerously close to Natasha, causing the girl to tremble under her gaze, but she refused to break eye contact with Miss Crimpton. Seeing that this little child was going to be hard to break, even though she was scared out of her wits, she took in a deep breath through her nose and then leaned back away from Natasha while looking over to Miss Nixon as she finally noticed her. "Miss Nixon, I'm sure you probably already have taken care of this...?"
    "Now, now, what's going on here?" Professor Sid's voice rang sternly through the hallway. He quickly walked towards his fellow staff and the incident, but he wasn't addressing them. The magic professor, cloaked in blue with a star-filled tall hat on his head, pointed to all of the students standing around. "Are any of you involved in any of this? Then detention for all of you!" He pointed to all of the innocent bystanders before adding, "I'm assuming if you're interested in this, then that means it's your business. If it's your business, you must have been involved. If you were involved, you deserve detention. And on the first day of class, nonetheless! Tsk, tsk," he shook his head as several "Buts!" rang through the hallway. "Unless...you're not involved. In which case, it isn't your business, which means..." he shrugged before finishing, "You shouldn't be here right now, correct?" After a few hesitant nods, he smiled, "Go to class. Or else you shall get detention for being late." After the bystanders quickly left, he turned to the incident.
    "Hello, Ms. Nixon," he bowed and grabbed her hand before placing a kiss on the back of her palm. "And to you as well, Ms. Crimpton," he did the same to her. "My, my, back to Grimm's for another year! It's been too long, even if it's only been three months!" He let out a laugh, trying to lighten the mood, but quickly moved on to the subject. "So, if I may ask, what exactly happened here and who exactly is responsible?" He asked to the students and teachers present.
    Miss Nixon frowned at Morgan, "I take no part in your silly games, somehow you will pull something on me. Alas.."she turned her attention to Miss Crimpton,"I have everything quite under control. No worries." she assured. Then Professor Sid interrupted her train of thought, making her blush slightly. She gave Morgan a slight push on the chest as to say 'go away' and smiled at Professor Sid as sweetly as she could,"Natasha here knocked down the ginger bread replica, which is greatly disappointing."she calmly stated.
    Carter hung back, then tapped Professor Sid on the rib repeatedly as Miss Nixon talked, in an annoying voice he said, "Sid!" then he muttered, "Squid." he continued to poke him in the ribs, waiting for any kind of reaction.
