I have a few questions for those who have played and have conquered the first four .hack games. I played and beat infection and mutation and I got to the end of outbreak and gave up and started to play the g.u. series(which is so much cooler). I understand it almost perfectly but I still have a few questions. 1. Who or what are aura, morganna, and herald? 2. What exactly is the epitaph of twilight? 3. What is so important about the eight phases of morganna? 4. What is cubia?
.hack was really weird. I've gotton a little far in the 1st game but I never understood it. This should be in the General Game Chat forums, anyways...
1.To get a better understanding of this question you might have to watch .hack//SIGN..........Aura is the ultimate program, designed by Harold Hoewick (German) and he also developed the world for Aura to live in........morgana was devised to be a motherly program for Aura but went haywire and tried to destroy Aura and anyone else who tried to save Aura your best bet to the answer to the question would be to check up on wikipedia.com on it........ 2.The epitath of light was the story that the world was based on.... 3.Like I said, Morgana is trying to destroy Aura, Morgana devised the 8 phases to destroy Aura and anyone else who tried to save Aura.........Kite and a lot of other people were trying to save Aura so Morgona tried to have them destroyed by the 8 phases 4.Cubia is the "Shadow" of the twilight bracelet.......when the bracelet was formed, cubia was formed by the darkness left over from the bracelet.........when kite data-drains something, cubia absorbs it and gets stronger........ As for me saying Morgana to destory morgana.................That was my bad.........Sorry..................I meant Morgana to destroy Aura......................Aura and Morgana are 2 different people............Harold designed Aura to be the ultimate program and Morgana to be its mother...........but Morgana went haywire.........

Harald Hoerwick was the creator of "The World" and developed Morganna to help awaken Aura by collecting data form the players to develop her. Aura was a super AI that Harald Hoerwick created to be like a child that can learn and grow and to be the daughter that he would never had with Emma Wielant (see next question). Morganna was ment to be a mother figure to Aura but once AUra was awakened, Morganna would have had "no purpose" so she deliberatly tried to stall Aura's awakening. After a large portion of Morganna's data was lost, she started trying to delete Aura from existance. 2. The Epitaph of the Twilight was a poem that was written by Emma Wielant, Harold's unrequieted love. "The World" was based off the poem which depicted the battle between the armies of light and dark. It was never finished. 3. Using the data from the poem, Morganna developed the "Morganna Factors" to delete Aura. EDIT: The "Morganna Factors" were also known as the 8 Phases of Morganna and also as the "Cursed Wave" in the Epitaph of the Twilight. Morganna Factors/Cursed Wave 1. Skeith - "The Terror of Death" 2. Innis - "The Mirage of Deceit" 3. Magus - "The Propagation" 4. Fidchell - "The Prophet" 5. Gorre - "The Machinator" 6. Macha - "The Temptress" 7. Tarvos - "The Avenger" 8. Corbenik - "The Rebirth" 4. Cubia functioned as the Anti-Existance of the Key to the Twilight. It was the Shadow and equal to Kite's Bracelet which was it's function. Everytime the bracelet did something, Cubia was effected and eventually became stronger.
1. well, as the other members said about Arua they left out that Morganna was the one who creathed Skeith to Hunt and distroy Arua at the end of .Hack//Sign when Tsukasa was able to make Arua awaken from her sleep 2. it was a poem writtion by this one guy that kinda relates to the game "The World" 3. not sure aobut that one 4. yukia says what it is
Skeith is one of the "Morganna Factors"; 1st Phase - The Terror of Death; which is why I didn't mention him as the one trying to kill Aura at the end of SIGN. I never got this game,looks interesting though.what i seen and liked is the combat system.Thats what i like about the new RPGs coming out.No more TB action lol.
Well, since we are on the topic of .hack here, I have to ask. Does anyone here know of any knowledge of a possible online .hack//G.U style mmorpg. I mean, I know of the original online .hack game called .hack fragment, but that was a total waste. It died down quickly, it barely sold, and it isn't going to reach america. The one thing that I do know though is that if the gaming went to a .hackG.U style, then that means that would include pking, guilds, tournaments, and all that stuff, and it would be such a success, so I need to ask, does anyone have any information on such a mmorpg?

I thought so. I know that there was definatly fragment, but that one was extremely lame and had no backround. In a g.u style, you are talken about so many different ways to play, including since you got quests. The one thing that can get people's hopes up would be 1 of a kind items. I know that they are supposed to have them, and that if they did, then lets face it, people would be maken goals to get them and everything. People could get fame. Tournaments would allow fame as well. That kind of game would be a major come back. I just sad that they didn't make that version in the first place. Actualy overload, her name is just simply pi. It might say pai in roots, but in g.u, it is pi (sounds like pie). Only thing that is bad about the games is that I get so addicted that I beat each version within a weak. Haseo rules though. He gets all da girls lol. I mean cmon. He crushes on shino. Atoli crushes on him. Alkaid crushes on him. I thought pi might crush on him, but then I remembered that she is supposed to actualy be in her 30's. Odd....
