ha, older than you :D anyways, i cant seem to find the hp value for my character on COM, any help please?

 

KH CoM is semi hack protected, because there are 2 HP values, however, if either of them are triggered, then the game rechecks them, and if they are incorrect, then the game resets

in other words, if you try to hack HP, then the game will reset

 

So infinite HP is impossible?

 

Nope, someone was able to do it by negating the reset address, but the code only works in Raw format with VisualBoyAdvance 1.8.0 beta 3

so, would changing both of the values work, on DBZ: buu's fury, i found the power value, and changed both, nothing else happened but the value change...

also, should i set the search for 8-bit,16-bit, or 32 bit to find the hp value...?

i made some codes, for infinite CP, inf hp (i think it works...) and max hp...and 50k mp.

you think COM is bad, check out jak 3 ( thats what i'm working on now ). the ELF file is only like 207kb and it's not multi-ELFed. you have do dump EVERYTHING which is a real pain =[

so if leveled sora up, and searched for the value, say, level 43, in hexidecimal, and leveled him up to level 46 say, searching each time, i'd have enough data for VBA to work out the adress of the character level, and so change it to 99 in HEx???

LOLZ, i hacked my first worthwhile CODE EVAR!

so the code/cheat is:
0202FA3A:??

then use the HEX number scale to put into the ??'s. the code will mod the sleight number you want. so for instance, if you want to ALWAYS use one type of sleight (i.e ars arcanum) put in the HEX for 3 (which is 3) and you can ALWAYS do a ars arcanum... clever, eh? :)

yes codes like infinte lives and max money are hacked like that. but depending on what you want ( like the riku code ) reqires a different method

 

can you teach me that method... i think ill get it now :)
