i certainly feel a lot wiser these days than i have in the past. however, i found that most times, you can only tell how wise you are from hindsight. for example, i remember i poured my heart and soul into my 12th grade paper about politics. from what i remembered, it was the best thing i had ever written. however, when i found it years later i found out that back then.........i was so full of crap, lol. i actually wrote that to stop corruption in politicians we should increase their pay, LMAO.

so yea, even though i feel more mature and wiser, i most likely am not actually very mature or smart. and i probably won't realize until a few years later.

I think I've matured a little bit myself. First off, my look towards God has drastically changed. I don't see it as a religion but more of a relationship with God. Of course, I have learned to become more tolerant towards peoples views, even when they are intolerant of mine (like a college proffessor for example). I have also matured in my view towards death. It isn't something that I am frightened of, like I was in the past. Yes, it is still a bit scary to me, but I have learned to embrace it and hope that my life reflects well on my afterlife.

I have also grown as a person, in general. Thsi time last year, I was...well, here, but I have gained a lot of new friends. I don't want to be on the computer so much anymore; I want to actually go outiside and play with my friends.

Finally, I learned to value live. I actually owe this to songs like Blink by Revive or One Day Too Late by Skillet. We are only given one life on this earth, which means one chance to do what you want to do. I wasted a lot of my life being afraid of socializing that I decided to change. I'm going into a field that helps young adults with issues. I was the kid who was seen as strange, and I know that if they are not helped or comforted, it could all end in a bad way. I'm going to make the most of my life, but I also need to absorb everything in, because once a moment passes, it's gone for good. See, one just left you now.

Every year or just a span of a few months I've notice I've grown up a bit. When I was younger and in school my teachers have always told me how I'm mature for my age. Some age faster than others, I suppose. ^^ Change happens overtime...

I have definitely grown a lot in the last year. Mostly from my experiences because this time last year I had just broken up from a long term relationship and I was very depressed but over the last year I have learnt a lot about myself and so have become a lot happier because of that. I have become a lot more self confident and I understand people a lot more. A lot of my skills have improved also, like drawing and playing guitar but the one thing that has changed a lot is the way I cope with stress. I had a problem (well still do) where I faint under stress and that helped me to realise when I was stressed and to sort myself out.

A year isn;t long, but it has a huge effect. Infact, everyday carries it's own unique experiences.
