Have you ever gotten detention?

Nope, never had one.

I remember 6th-8th grade teachers used to shell out detentions like there was no tomorrow, so it's pretty much amazing I've never been stuck for something. In high school detentions seem pretty rare though, either that or people are more hush hush about them.

 

They don't have detention were i live. :3

 

Hmmm, time to take a wee stroll down memory lane....
-Setting a completed notebook on fire during recess
-Sleeping in class x23 (that's an estimate, btw)
-Knocking down a window while playing baseball in Gym
-"Losing" some of the the library's DVDs

That's pretty much it.....so far, anyway >_>

I almost got detention for sleeping in english, but my GLC said it was ok cause he understood that I'm really busy and canceled the detention. ^_^

 

yea i got detention for not doin my homework how unfair is that i mean GOD just cause i didn't do algebra grrrr

 

Nope, never gotten detention, and I don't plan to. Doesn't sound fun.

 

My teachers loved me in High School. I got As, behaved, and did my homework.

So no detention for me.

My dad teaches at my school so if I did I'd kind of be in huge trouble.

For the most part, I haven't.

In first grade I was sent to the office for something because one of my friends was in trouble (they let me leave, though). Ever since I was terrified of getting in trouble.

Although I got a lot of lunch detentions in fifth grade. Most of the time it was for missing homeworks, but I got one for racing in the hallways with my friend (which I totally won, btw)

 

I got it a lot in 6th grade because I liked to act really stupid. Then I stop acting all ******ed and I never got a detention since then...

 

Nope, my record's clean. 8D


But me and my friends were apparently being..."obnoxious" during a bomb threat. The teacher would have written us up if the office wasn't so crowded later.

 

Nnnghh.. I used to get detention all the time. I still do, but only occassionally.

I'd get it in Form class when my penalty points for being late built up. I tried the seemingly good enough excuse, "butbutbut! I was doing my hair ;__;", to no avail. It's either that or in English, for always using the computer when we're 'sposed to be writing essays or keeping me and my partner from our work by constantly yapping. Now that I can't help .__. Trés lame D:

We don't have detention

Instead, our school as an IN school suspension

The troublemaker *coughs* I mean um, student, must go get their work from every teacher/ class and go to a room called the SAFE room. There, they make the students sit in an assigned seat, make them sit up, feet planted on the floor, and you must not close your eyes for more then 2 seconds. Your arms are not allowed to be on the desk, your elbows must be touching your sides and you must look forward, When the SAFE teacher starts for your work, you must start and complete it. Once finished, you cannot just sit there, the teacher gives out more work until the day is over. Usually its 100 definitions for every time you get done.

The only kid to ever get kicked out of SAFE was a friend of mine, because he fell asleep 2 times in there and they didn't feel like fooling around with him ​

 

I only got 2 detentions as of now

1. Because my friend made me delay my work

2. I got a detention because most of the people in my homeroom were so noisy, all of us had to suffer.

So these detention are not entirely my fault.

When I didn't bring my School sweater,I did it on purpose though

yes i get detention the last one i got was because i cussed out my english teacher then my science......................... then my math.......................then my socail studies and ect. XD

Nope, I've never gotten detention...I was close to getting one though...for talking in class...XD
