Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

"don't apologise.... it's not like it's your fault...." Saix said as he put a hand on her shoulder.

 

"But somehow... I feel like it is. I didn't ask you to come here in the first place and you didn't come here of your own free will either. You were sent here, but at the same time, I feel like it's my fault either way." Raiu wanted to be as close to him as possible.

 

Saix sighed. "i'm glad Xemnas sent me here.... if he wouldn't have.... i never would have met you." the diviner spoke with sincerity.

 

"I guess... I've been alone longer than I thought. I liked being alone but since I met you, I'm actually afraid to be alone again... when I always have been." Raiu was speaking the truth. Ever since her family was lost to darkness at age 5, she had been alone her entire life.

 

Saix sighed again. "i'll never leave you alone. i'll always be here. i promised you that and i'm going to keep it."

 

Raiu nodded and lifted up her head but only for him to see actual tears. She wiped them away knowing that her troubled life would hopefully soon be over. But she sensed Axel again and this time, he was outside. "Axel's here..."

 

Saix walked over to his claymore and picked it up. "alright Axel.... stop hiding..." the diviner looked around.

A dark being appeared from a dark portal wearing the same coat as Saix. He removed his hood to reveal piercing emerald eyes and fiery red hair. "Hey Saix. Whatcha been up to?"

Raiu went behind Saix outside and clung to him. She didn't seem as frightened as before with Xemans but she would never trust another Nobody, no one else other than the one she was with now. "Is that him?"

 

"yes. this is Axel....." Saix smirked. "got it memorized?" he mocked Axel's catchphrase. "what are you doing here Axel?" Saix asked.

 

"Just came to see how you were doing. After all... we won't be seeing you for a while anyway. So... who's the girl?"

Raiu tried to hide herself behind Saix a little more as she didn't like him one bit. "I don't like him... he's dangerous."

 

Saix stared at Axel. "i love this girl as much as a nobody can..." Saix said as he waited for Axel to laugh at him.

 

"I thought you might say that. You see..." Axel summoned his chakrams and gave a sinister smile to Saix. "Xemnas told us the whole story..." He wanted to fight.

Raiu got terrified and buried her face, terrified of what Axel might do. "Your arm's not healed yet." She clung to Saix with her strength. She trembled in fear of Axel, knowing that he could possibly hurt her.

 

Saix pointed his claymore at Axel. "i knew i couldn't trust you.......... Lea." Saix smirked at the fact he called Axel by his human name.

 

Axel lowered his chakrams and pointed at Saix with them. "Don't forget your fate Saix... to fade away."

Raiu looked in shock at Axel and then up at Saix. "Fade... away?"

"Oh... Saix has not told you? Why don't you do the honors?"

 

Saix shook his head. "that is not something that she needs to know. i do not wish to worry her."

"I think she does need to know, Saix. You need to stop and finally tell her the truth... the fate of Nobodies like you and me... if you ever truly love her at all." Axel faded away back to the castle, hopefully not to be seen again for a while.

Raiu looked up at Saix with worry and concern, most importantly... sadness. "You'll fade away?" She slumped on the ground, in shock, unable to speak.

 

Saix sighed. "it's the fate of all Nobodies. a Nobody doesn't or even was supposed to exist. we have no purpose, no hearts, and no emotions. we do nothing good for the worlds. "

 

Raiu began to doubt herself. Is he not able to stay with her forever after all? She was more sad then she had ever been before. "If it's fate, then I can't do anything about it."

 

Saix nodded sadly. "but i'll give you this." he took a picture out of his pocket and handed it to Raiu. it was a picture of a young muscular man with short, spikey, blue hair leaning on a wall.

 

Raiu took the picture and looked at it for a long time. She showed 1 single tear and looked extremely sad. "This is you, isn't it?" Her head down and kneeling to the ground, unable to even look at him.
