Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Raiu just looked at him with a small saddening look. She knew that no matter what she did, she couldn't get his will under control. It was his choice after all. "Come on. Let's go." Raiu started walking down the path to the entry of the mountains.

 

the crazy look in Saix's eyes faded. he followed after her. he wondered why he suddenly almost went berserk. he scratched his head. as he followed, he looked around for the organization.

 

They finally got to the path up the mountains to see Raiu's mother's grave. She couldn't help but think about her deceased mother, the one who always looked after her and cared for her. She tried to hide her shame about her mother's death from Saix, hoping he wouldn't see it.

 

Saix stared at the grave. that's her mother.... he thought as he turned to look at Raiu. he hugged her. something was wrong... but he didn't know what.

 

Raiu embraced him back. She wanted to explain how she died. "This is the grave of my mother... the one who always looked after and cared for me. I still miss her to this day. She was the only person close to me before."

 

Saix sighed. "i know what it's like.... to miss someone you care about..." he hugged tighter. "i can't even remember his name..."

 

"You miss someone too?" Raiu didn't let go for one second, tears of sadness/happiness starting to come down her face.

 

"yes....." Saix answered. "it was a long time ago................ i can hardly remember him.........." Saix hugged tighter... what was this feeling?

 

"Oh, I see." She paused for a moment to look at him and she wiped away her tears. "I kind of am blame for my mother's death."

 

Saix raised an eyebrow. "how so...?" he asked. he was kind of curious how she was to blame.

Raiu calmed down as she thought of her past. "Whenever I got sick, my mother always took care of me. But the last time I was sick when she was alive, somehow she contracted the illness from me and she died a few days later. That's how it's my fault." She was extremely sad when speaking about this, as her mother was something she really didn't like to talk about.

 

Saix tightened the hug. "it's not your fault you got sick and it's not your fault your mother decided to take care of you..."

 

"But she contracted the illness from me. If it was caused by me then..." Raiu started to have uncontrollable tears and tried to wipe them away. This was one issue Raiu didn not like to talk about because it made her so uncomortable. "Sorry... this is just... so hard for me, even though she's gone."

 

Saix rubbed her back. "you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to." he said as he kissed her on the cheek. he got a faint salty taste in his mouth from the tears.

 

Raiu finally wiped away her tears, but they just kept coming. "I get ill every few years. When I do, it's bad enough that I can't even move from my own bed and it usually lasts for about a week. I thought I should tell you and I haven't been ill since my family was lost to darkness."

 

Saix nodded. "if you get ill..... i'll take care of you..." he kissed her neck softly as he hugged tighter.

 

OOC: he thought he could join when the RP was already full...

BIC: Raiu nodded softly because she knew that was the truth. She would probably get her sickness anytime soon but she shouldn't worry about that right now. She let go of Saix and walked to her mother's grave, which was surrounded by blue wildflowers. Raiu gently stroked the gravestone, thinking of her mother.

 

Saix followed her. he took a blue flower out of his shirt and layed it among the other flowers. he figured he'd be respectful.

 

Raiu kneeled down to get closer to the gravestone. She watched as Saix placed a flower among the others. She stared at all the others. "These flowers grow here by themselves. My mother wanted to buried here, because she liked them."

 

Saix smiled a little. "i can see why. it's beautiful here." he sat down. "too bad nobodies just fade when they die."
