Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Raiu suddenly turned around, not looking at him and frowning. Why did he say that? She was pretty mad at him for saying that.

 

OOC- figured i'd add some more drama. xD
BIC- Saix was still frozen. "um... uh... i'm... sorry..." he was struggling to find the right words.

 

Raiu still didn't want to look at him, still frowning and pouting. She could not believe he actually said that and she knew that it wasn't possible either.

 

Saix looked down, ashamed of himself. he hit his head over and over with his right hand. he loved Raiu that much... but he didn't have to say it...

 

Raiu heard him hit his head over and over and still didn't look at him. She then picked up the cloth from her head and waved it in the air, signaling that it needed to be dipped in cold water again. Even though he said something incredibly stupid to her, he was still taking care of her. Raiu didn't plan to talk to him for a while now.

 

Saix took the rag. he wet it again and put it on Raiu's forehead. he felt something wet on his cheek. he touched it. was he.... crying?

 

Raiu took the cloth back and put it back on her head, not answering. She was turning in her bed trying to sleep and when she turned to face Saix, she saw him holding his face. This was the first time he ever showed tears for her. Usually she was the one showing tears. Raiu was surprised at him a great deal...

 

Saix looked at his hand after he removed it from his face. it was wet with tears. more were streaming down his face. he tried to stop them but couldn't. "I'M SO STUPID!!!!" he shouted so loud he shook the entire house.

 

Raiu got afraid and hid her face. Now he was making her cry. But she gently took his hand and shook her head, saying to calm down and that it was kinda her fault they had even met in the first place. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time when they met.

 

Saix calmed down. "you're probably not going to like what i'm about to say..." more tears streamed down his face. "...i think... it would be better for you... if... after you recover... i beg Xemnas to let me back into the organization... and i leave...."

 

Raiu was shocked at what he said as tears streamed down her face even more. She leaned in close and gave a look to him that was saying "but you promised me! you promised to never leave me alone!" He made a promise to her. Was he not happy her? Does he not even love her as much as he claimed to earlier?

 

"i don't deserve you..... i'm only holding you back..... it's not that i don't love you... i do... but... i have a feeling that you're angry and you hate me..." Saix wiped his face with his sleeve.

 

Raiu shook her head with her tears running down her. She could never hate him... not at all. She was trying to say that she didn't hate him and she would always forgive him no matter. She squeezed his hand tight, reminding him of his promise to her to never leave her alone.

 

Saix hugged her tightly. "i'm such a fool... i have to leave... and i'm sorry... but... nothing you say can change that..." he cried a little harder.

 

Raiu embraced him as hard as possible. Even though she couldn't talk, her feelings were clear. She could not believe he was breaking his promise to her.

A few days past and Raiu felt better quickly than she thought. But she and Saix didn't speak to each other since that night and finally the day came for him to leave. Raiu lead Saix down to the beach where they first met so she could good bye to him properly.

 

Saix stood on the beach. he didn't want to leave Raiu... but he felt like he didn't have a choice... "well... i guess this is goodbye..." Saix's emotionless side was back.

 

Raiu really couldn't even bear to speak, not with tears rolling down her face. She hadn't said anything to him since she became ill and this was her chance. She was sad that he was leaving but extremely angry that he was breaking his promise to her. "Nothing will be the same if we meet again."

 

Saix nodded. "i'm keeping my promise. you may not see me... but i'll be there. i'll be watching you." he opened a portal. "i suppose we should kiss one last time..."

 

"Just one last time... what do you think will happen, if we ever do meet again?" Raiu had to learn to accept his decision but she ever did wonder if she would meet him again.

 

Saix had thought about that a thousand times. "then... i suppose... we could talk... a little... i'm not entirely sure how it will feel though." Saix kissed her more passionatly and deeply then he ever has.
