Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Raiu sunk into his warmth one more time as he kissed her. But she learned to break herself free this time and hung her head in sadness, even though probably deep down, this would be a good thing for her. "You should probably go."

 

Saix nodded. "goodbye..." he walked through the portal. he looked back right as the portal closed.

 

Raiu just stood there is the portal closed, tears running down her face. He broke his promise and he probably wasn't coming back to her world. "I was such an idiot to believe I could love someone like him. He's a Nobody... he can't feel at all." Raiu started off back towards her house, ready to move on with her life.

 

Xemnas smirked as Saix appeared in front of him.
"mission accomplished Superior." Saix said.
"wonderful job........ Data Saix." Xemnas said.

 

Raiu went back to her home and sat on her bed. She sat there expressionless, wondering what to do since no one was around her anymore. That meant her nightmares would come again, the only good news was her illness wouldn't come again for a while. But she believed that she didn't need anyone to take care of her anymore. Raiu would be just fine by herself...

 

Xemnas appeared in front of a cell. Saix was inside. "you're free to go." Xemnas opened a portal and vanished. Saix walked into the portal.

 

~TIME SKIP~

2 years later after that fateful day, someone walks on to the beach with long flowing brown hair and deep purple eyes. A girl wears a small but soft cotton black dress with brown boots. It was Raiu... now at 5'7'', taller than she was, which was 5'3''. But something wasn't right with her. Even though she tried to get Saix out of her mind many times, she could never forget him. She told herself that if she ever felt him, she would be lucky to catch another glimpse of him. But she hasn't felt his presence since that day. She had more of a saddening look, but the look of an adult this time, not the look of a child. Raiu is now 17 and has been living alone, getting along fine. She seemed to make more friends as well. But she seemed healthy as well. Her heart was the only thing left that was hurting her...

"Saix..."

 

Saix continued serving the organization. he dreamed of Raiu every night. he found it impossible to forget her... Xemnas, on the other hand, has completely forgotten. he assigned Saix to survey a world... the name sounded familiar... it was Raiu's world. he happily accepted the mission. he warped to the beach.

 

Raiu stood on the farthest end of the beach, the opposite end where Saix had usually come before, hoping for the one day when he might show up again. But he never did come during these last two years.But there was no point in being sad about. But she did hope that once he saw her from a distance really quick, he would at least see how grown up she had become.

 

Saix had cut his hair. it was now short and spiked... like in the photo he gave Raiu. he was a little more muscular as well. he saw a girl at the other side of the beach.

 

Raiu turned around to see one of her friends, Sonata. They met a year after that day and have been friends since. She had black hair and blue eyes and she was so kind to Raiu as well.
"Hey Sonata."
"Hey Raiu. What are you doing here?"
"Oh... nothing."
"Please tell me what you're doing here."
"Thinking about... him."
"Oh, Raiu... it's been two years. You think you would be over him?"
"I can't Sonata. He showed me how to live."
"Come on, we should go hang out at my house."
"Right, let's go." Raiu and Sonata walk together towards her friend's house to talk about different stuff. She hoped that wherever he was, he would be proud of her right now.

 

Saix saw the girl run off. he decided to follow her. he jumped from tree to tree.... he landed on a thin branch. he quickly put his hood up. he fell out of the tree and landed in front of Raiu and her friend. he stood up. "Raiu..." he muttered.

 

Raiu and her friend saw the figure, but Raiu quickly stood her ground. She took out her daggers, which looked newer and she seemed more experienced in battle, but completely unaware that it was the one she loved before. "You..."
"Raiu, who is that?"
"Get in the house Sonata. I'll take care of him." She obeyed her friend and got in to safety.
Raiu, still looking as determined as ever to kill the figure in front of her. "Leave here. I warn you my strength is far greater than when we met."

 

Saix was shocked. he put down his hood. "Raiu... you look so grown up..." Saix said as he embraced her and kissed her deeply.

 

Raiu put her dagger, learning that the figure wasn't harmless. But when the hood was put down, her face went shocked. She was even more shocked when he embraced her deeply. She broke free of him and turned away. "Can you come me to the beach?"

 

Saix nodded as he put his hood up and headed to the beach, walking slowly.

 

Raiu lead him to the corner of the beach where they first met 2 years before. She didn't know what to say to him after all this time... but she had to let him know how she felt. "For 2 years you didn't come back... 2 years I was alone and waiting, and didn't suffer. Why did you come back after all this time? I'm sorry if I sound angry with you."

 

Saix shook his head. "two things... one... Xemnas captured me during the night... a data me was taking care of you... he deceived you... this is Xemnas' doing... two... i'm on a mission... he was watching me closely... if he wasn't... i would've been back sooner."

 

Raiu was shocked at his words. "So you're just here on a mission? And you're telling me that data replica was what caused the separation of me and you?" She thought this over, wondering if she could actually believe him. Even if it was the truth, it still hurt her inside. "You know Saix, even if it is the truth, I'm not even sure what to say to you at this point. But that doesn't mean I haven't stopped loving you... because I always have."

 

Saix nodded. "i've always loved you too... and...i'm not leaving again... the organization can live without me..."
