Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Raiu knew this couldn't be possible. Even though she did love him, this couldn't work out. "Saix, I've come to realize something these past two years. You and I are different, too different. And while we may love each other, we cannot stay together here in my world. You have to keep working for the Organization and I'll continue to live my life here. I used to think on the first day that I was apart from you, that I had no life here that was meaningful. But that's not true... where one person lives is where their pride is." Raiu turned to him finally, with a content and serious look on her face and she was a completely different person. She was more grown up and more sensible about things now. "Look at me Saix. I'm not the little girl you used to know. You have to go back. If you stay here, then everything will just fall apart again and be the way it was before. Your place and my place... their worth our pride. But no matter what, I will not stop loving you... I always will love you." She knew she was making sense and he had to know that she was not the young girl anymore. There were no tears in her eyes but she didn't deny her feelings either.

 

Saix knew it... at that point... he had to kill Xemnas. it was the only way they could be together. "i'll be back..." Saix drew his claymore and summoned a portal.

 

Raiu just shook her head and grabbed him before he went in. "You have to listen!" She pulled him back with a somewhat angry expression on her face. "If you just go on a killing rampage now, it wouldn't make things any different. It's not the Organization's fault, not yours or even mine... we're just two completely different beings who care about each other."

 

"Xemnas is keeping us apart! it's his fault! I'M GOING TO KILL HIM!!!!!" Saix shouted as his eyes glew yellow and his teeth became sharp.

 

Raiu was speaking the truth about what she came to realize and yet he still didn't listen to her. Things were no longer the same between the two of them. She turned away from him and shook her fists in anger. "If you go and break whatever pride you have in yourself, then I promise you this... I probably won't be able to trust you anymore." Raiu walked away to join her friend, irritated with the way things were.

 

Saix yelled again in irritation as he closed the portal. what happened...? Raiu was so different... that night... he should've been more aware... Saix realised something... it wasn't Xemnas' fault... it was HIS fault... his fate was to fade anyway... he deserved to die... he reopened the portal. he was going to fade today... he knew it... he entered the portal. he appeared behind Xemnas.

 

Maybe Raiu was a little too tough on him. But she was speaking the truth from her heart and yet Saix still didn't listen to her or understand. She didn't have to say she wouldn't trust him. Maybe she acted a little too different in front of him, but she was more grown up now.

 

Xemnas faced Saix. "i saw everything..."
Saix didn't say a single word. he started attacking. he swung at Xemnas' head.
Xemnas ducked and kicked Saix into a wall.

 

Raiu couldn't face it any longer. This was the first time she cried in 2 years. Her heart longed for Saix that much. With the power of her heart, she created a portal that would lead to where he was. She ran through, ready for a fight. When she came through on the other side, she saw Saix and Xemnas fighting. "STOP IT!" Raiu yelled.

 

Saix turned to Raiu.
"leave him to his fate!" Xemnas said. he shot a laser into Saix's stomach.

 

Raiu wasn't going to beg, she really was going to stop him this time... by giving her life to save his. She ran, hoping that when Xemnas would fire another laser it would hit her or at least get him to strike her with his aerial blades.

 

Xemnas shot another laser at Saix. the laser headed straight for his head. Saix closed his eyes and waited for death.

 

Raiu stopped in front of him and glared at Saix. "If you want to kill someone... then kill me instead. I don't care how hopeless or stupid it may sound to you. But if there's one ting I've learned the entire time I've been with this Nobody... I will gladly give my life for his. Go ahead and kill both of us if you like! I don't care!"

 

Xemnas chuckled. "think that'll stop me?" he aimed at Raiu's chest. "your heart will make a fine addition to my collection." he fired.

 

Raiu closed her eyes and waited for him to fire and once she did, she fell backwards and landed on her back. The she felt strange, as her heart began to feel like it was coming out of her body. She closed her eyes, waiting for death. She wondered if it was enough to save Saix's life.

((i'm off to bed... really tired and it's like 2:30 in the morning ^^))

 

Saix was snapped out of his trance-like state. "wha?" he threw his claymore at Xemnas, dealing a successful blow. Xemnas was knocked on his back. Saix hugged Raiu tightly.

 

Raiu opened her eyes to find Saix holding her. She laid back, holding on for breath. "Don't be sad... for me. Remember what I said before? I had no regrets... nothing will change that." She pointed to the sky. "That's where I'll be... and I'll wait for you." Pain struck her as she felt her heart slwoly coming out of her.

BIC- Saix kept hugging her, crying into her shoulder. he nodded. "how will i tell your friend...?"

 

Raiu held him up, wanting him to look at her. "I want you to take care of Sonata. I told her everything about me and you. If you just tell her I went to the sky, she will understand." Raiu slowly remembered something from when they used to spend time together... her mother's grave. "I have one more thing I want you to do."

 

Saix nodded and broke the hug. he wiped his tears. "anything..." Saix had a good idea about what it was...
