Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

"Let's just be happy that she's gonna get one." Sonata picked up the stone and carried it all the way to the hill where Raiu had shown her mother's grave to him just two years before. Sonata placed it right next to her mother's stone. She looked to Saix. "Raiu told me about the day she took you here."

 

Saix nodded. "did she tell you everything? even how Xemnas burned the flowers?" he asked as he stared at the stone.

 

Sonata nodded to say yes. "Everything... she even said how grateful she was to you about helping her rebuild this place... since this was the one place where she could be happy." She thought about her comment earlier. "She told me about you... and she also felt bad about what happened two years ago, when the separation happened."

 

Saix nodded. "think i should tell Marluxia about Raiu dying?" he asked. "he sort of liked her."

 

"He's the one who regrew this place. If that's what you feel what you should do, then do it. I'll even come with you." Sonata looked at him with a serious look.

 

Saix opened a portal to Castle Oblivion. "you don't have to come with me if you don't want to." Saix said as he put a hand on Sonata's shoulder.

 

Sonata thought about this for a minute but when she was about to give her answer, a red butterfly appeared Saix's hand where he had it Sonata's shoulder. She saw it and started to remember Raiu. "The form of Raiu's spirit..."

 

Saix took his hand off of Sonata's shoulder and held his hand in front of his face. he said nothing. he stared at the butterfly.

 

The red butterfly (form of Raiu's spirit) flew from Sonata's shoulder to Saix's hand, pouring her final words into his mind.

She wants to be with you... keep her by your side... Sonata heard her final words as well. She smiled at them. "You can hear her, can't you?"

 

Saix was silent for a moment as he stared at the butterfly. he nodded. "yes."

 

"She does not want you to be lonely... I guess it's only right if I come." Sonata wondered how close she and him would get since they were going to be together.

 

Saix slowly approached the portal and entered it. he came out at Castle Oblivion. Saix waited for Sonata.

 

Sonata appeared next to him, not saying a word. It was like Raiu when she first came, she was afraid to meet Marluxia and probably so was Sonata.

 

Marluxia saw Saix and ran to greet him. "hello Saix. something you need?"
Saix sighed. "Raiu's dead."

 

OOC great story but if you dont mind my saying so, it seems that this story is almost over

 

OOC-True but the FIRST HALF of the story is finished.
BIC-Sonata stayed behind him hoping that everything would be fine. She wasn't as frightened to meet Marluxia as Raiu was before.

 

Marluxia raised an eyebrow. "that girl that was with you? that's too bad." a rose appeared in his hand. he handed it to Saix. "would you put this on her grave for me?"

Saix nodded.

 

Sonata hid behind him, listening to the conversation. She hoped that everything would be better from now on. She wasn't even sure who the person was.

 

Saix stepped to the side, revealing Sonata. "...and this is Sonata, Raiu's friend."

Marluxia smiled. "nice meeting you. so sorry about your friend."

 

"It's fine... because she made him promise to keep me safe. It's nice that he's so devoted to her..." Even though she had a small smile on her face, she felt like she was hurting herself, she knew that Saix would only stay devoted to Raiu, now and forever.
