Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Saix looked down at the ground as he walked. he knew..... Raiu was the only one who loved him... and the only one that ever will.....

 

Sonata just started reliving her memories of her and Raiu a year ago. They were brief but they were good memories. When it came to him, Sonata could not compete with Raiu's love for him.

OOC: sorry ^^ spaced out for a while...

 

Saix brushed a stray tear off of his cheek. he sighed.

 

Sonata, with him walking behind her, finally reached her house and Sonata sat on her bed. It was close to nighttime anyway and she would have to sleep soon.

 

Saix sighed. he looked at Sonata. "where should i sleep?"

 

"Well... there's nothing extra, but if you don't mind... then you can... climb in with me... if you want." There was also a chair in the corner but he probably didn't want that either. She was nervous about what he would choose.

 

Saix sighed. "you don't love me... why would you wish for me to sleep with you?"

 

"I never said I didn't like you..." Sonata covered her mouth before said anything. Her emotions were so out of place that she didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry... please don't go."

 

Saix climbed into Sonata's bed. he closed his eyes and went to sleep.

 

What was she saying. It didn't make sense... but she couldn't deny how she felt. But what about him? He still loved Raiu so it could never be.

 

Saix started snoring lightly. his breathing grew heavy.

 

Sonata did not understand anything at all. Raiu... why did you trust me with him? He loves you, not me. She buried her face in her arms, which held her knees, as she sat on the bed. Tears began rolling down her face.

 

Saix mumbled something in his sleep. "Raiu..." he muttered.

 

At the sound of that, Sonata's heart broke in two. She knew it wasn't possible... he still loved Raiu even after she's dead. Her soul began to fill with sadness and grief. She did like him, even loved him, but she could never replace Raiu.

 

"Sonata...." he muttered with a smile. "i.....lo-" his eyes flew open.

 

Sonata lifted up her face and looked to him immediately. Did he just say what he was going to say? If so, she had to know if it was true.

 

Saix sat up. he looked around. his eyes rested on Sonata.

 

Sonata could not believe what she had just heard... was it actually true? She couldn't help but look at him back and have her eyes turn so sad.

 

Saix continued staring at Sonata. he sighed and hugged her.

 

Sonata's tears continued when he embraced her. It didn't make sense and she still had to know the truth. "Is it true?"
