Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

Saix nodded as he hugged her. he kissed her neck lightly.

 

Sonata was in shock that he did. But there was one more thing... what about his feelings for Raiu? What would he think of her? "But... what about her?"

 

"i will always love Raiu... but.... fact is.... she's dead...." Saix sighed.

 

"Yeah, but you still do." Sonata laid her head on his chest. It felt like she was confused. She was happy that he returned her feeling but also sad because he still loved Raiu.

 

Saix gently stroked her hair. he enjoyed the smell of it.

Sonata just sat still as he sat next to her. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all. But only time could tell.

Saix stroked her hair more. he smelled her hair.

 

Sonata felt really bad, like it was all her fault for making him like this. She was starting to feel how Raiu felt 2 years ago, when she spent time with him. "I'm sorry."

 

Saix stopped stroking her hair and sat back to look at her. "you are... sorry? why?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

 

"I feel like... it's my fault for getting you involved in this, for you being with me. I don't know why I say this." What was wrong with her? Before he came, she was certain about what she wanted. But now, Sonata felt like everything had gone wrong.

 

Saix looked at Sonata. "you don't have to be sorry. i'm... happy... for the first time in a very very long time..."

 

"But... you were happy... with her first." Sonata felt like, she was stealing the happiness that Raiu gave him and replacing it with another kind.

 

Saix embraced Sonata tightly. "it's just... when i see you... i see her... it makes me feel... happy..."

 

"You see her... when you look at me? I guess... I'm more like her than I thought." Sonata finally relaxed and leaned her head on his chest.

 

Saix nodded and embraced her tighter. "you just seem so much like her..."

 

"I'm... just like her?" It probably was true since now that he was with her, it was bringing out the memories of him when him and Raiu were together.

 

Saix kissed her passionatly, still holding her.

 

Sonata had a surprised look on her face when he kissed her, but she soon relaxed and accepted it. Maybe it didn't matter so much anyway.

 

Saix deepened the kiss, holding Sonata close.

 

The warmth he was pouring into her body... that feeling was the same he gave Raiu 2 years ago when he was with her. Sonata seemed to like it, but she didn't love him at the same level her best friend did. But even so, she still loved him.
