Heavy, Non-Existent Heart

"Hm? What did you see?" Saix asked with a yawn.

 

"I saw... this town burning to the ground... swarms of Heartless... and Nobodies as well. The fires... they eventually reach the mountains." Sonata, didn't know what it meant, but whatever it was, it couldn't be good.

 

Saix raised an eyebrow he had no idea what that meant. "Well... that's interesting....."

 

"I don't know if it will come true or not. But I really hope it doesn't." It was quite a horrible vision and more of a nightmare. What was gonna happen if it would become real?

 

Saix nodded. He hoped it wouldn't come true. He cared not what happened to the village and its people, but he didn't want Raiu's grave to be in danger. Saix put his arm around Sonata.

 

"It's not gonna be a good thing if that fire had spread to the mountains, right?" She knew that if it would, then her friend's grave would be in danger.

 

Saix shook his head. "If it does, i'll stop the fire myself."

 

"But... how?" She was quite curoius about what he said when he could stop the fire himself. But... what if he died?

 

"I don't care what I have to do... i'll burn with Raiu's grave..."

 

Sonata became shocked when he said that. She didn't want him to go, not yet. It was only just now she had gotten to know him.

 

Saix sighed and hugged Sonata. "Sorry... I have no idea what came over me..."

 

"Don't be... you still love her anyway." Even though it probably wasn't right, it was the truth. He still loved her no matter what.

 

Saix sighed and released Sonata. It was true... he did love Raiu... and he always would. But, Sonata was now important to him as well.

 

Sonata said nothing as he released her. It almost seemed like...he would always love Raiu more than herself. But it was fine, since they met first.

 

Saix was silent for a moment. When he finally began to speak, he shut himself up.

 

Sonata noticed that he wanted to say something but became surprised when he became quiet again. "You know...you can say anything you want. I wouldn't mind."

 

".....I think i'm falling in love with you...." Saix said.

 

Sonata became shocked at what he said. It probably was the truth...but he still loved Raiu with all of his being. What was she supposed to say? There was only one thing to say right now. "I...see..."

 

Saix chuckled a little. "I'm sorry if I surprised you...."

 

"It's fine... I just didn't exect that." Sonata continued to sit by him, sort of unable to speak. Is it true what he said?
