Hey, all you Naruto fans.

Eh, I don't really consider him a placeholder. He had a goal, he had a plan to achieve that goal, and he came very close to achieving that goal. Granted, he probably could have accomplished it in less than half the time he took, but he ended up being an alright villain anyway. The only thing I couldn't stand was that he didn't get very much backstory. It's kind of like, "Here's Voldemort, here's his goal, but I won't tell you why he's here or why he wants what he wants."

I used to love Naruto, but I stopped reading the manga sometime after...I think a war started? I can't remember, but I got tired of reading it because I personally think the series needs to end.

I used to like Naruto when I was a kid, but I got tired of it around the time Shippuden started. I think I might still have my headband somewhere, actually. >_>

And as for good 'ol Voldy, I like him. You guys complain that he's not complex enough, but sometimes it's fun to just have a bad guy that's evil for shits and giggles.

Seeing as how I know next to nothing about both Naruto and Harry Potter, I have nothing else to contribute to this thread.

 

So yeah, other than the first point.
Although, I still don't think you can say it was better or worse.
Both Potter and Naruto are different fundamentally. I happen to be a fan of both. So yeah.
