"im a spy. I was ordered to work for the kingdom of Neku in order to gain information" Blade said

 

Tsukiko relaxed a bit. "May I have you name, good sir?"

 

Kata, on the other hand, didn't relax on hearing that. It could as easily be a lie as the truth. She wanted the King's word first.

 

"Blade" Blade said

 

"You have my thanks, Blade." Tsukiko smiled. "Though I still have a question; who was the man with you?"

Kata shook her head in disbelief, Even if it's true, how can she trust him just like that? She can't be that naive, she's the heir to the throne for the god's sake! What have their majesties been teaching her?

 

"an asssasin that came to help" Blade said and the took out a smoke bomb and threw it down "get away from here. NEku wan't you for your powers" Blade said and when the smoke cleared he was gone. Blade appeared infront of the assasin "where is the girl" the assasin said "she got away. Lets head back" Blade said

 

Tsukiko coughed and waved a hand in front of her face. Powers....They know more of what I know nothing of? Why has it not been explained to me then? Surely my parents must know if the king of Neku does. She touched her upper arm, glad that the sleeve of her dress covered the dragon mark.

 

Kata stepped foward, "m'lady, we need to go before the other man decides to come and take a look around here." she said, hiding her thoughts from her face.

 

Tsukiko jumped, startled. "Y-yes. Yes, of course. Let us go then." She lifted her skirts and started to head back to the castle.

 

Kata walked next to her and glanced at the dragon mark on Tsukiko's arm. "So, do you know all the things you can do, yet?" she asked, casually.

Tsukiko pulled her sleeve down her arm. "I know not of what you speak." She said, trying not to let her voice shake.

 

Kyra saw the princess and Kata and ran up to them,"What's up?"

 

Kata couldn't help but laugh at the princess. "Okay, whatever you say. But if you ever decide you want to know more about it..." she turned slightly so Tsukiko could see her mark. "You only have to ask." she turned away again, letting her own sleeve drop and obscure the mark, and gave a greeting bow to Kyra. "Hello, we're just going back to the castle." she explained, as calmly as if nothing interesting had happend

 

Kyra looked at Tsukiko, then looked at Kata and saw it on their faces. She put her hands on her hips and looked at Kata," Ok, what happened?"

 

Kata looked at Kyra for a moment, "Someone... threw kuni at her majesty, but he claims not to want to hurt her." she crossed her arms and drumed her fingers on her arm. "Whether he's telling the truth or lying, we'll see soon." she smiled, slightly, to Kyra.

 

Kyra looked at Kata,"Yea, I guess" she smiled back at her.

She's got the same mark as me? Tsukiko thought in wonder. She brought herself back to focus. "You'll have to forgive me, I must be going." She said to Kata and Kyra and then left them to go to the training grounds.
