High School Life

Lexi shrugged, " you have to pick him up? what is this about?"

 

"Okay, you should go then" Lexi said. "I guess it's fine if he comes over to my house... just make sure he doesn't bleed on anything" She smiled.

 

Mark was rolled out to the entrance where he waited for Alaric. And with how close Alaric and his girlfriend get he wouldn't be surprised if Alaric was pissed for him ruining something. For now he had 3 missions. One keep up the brother act until he was in the car. Two pass the store without Alaric noticing. And three keep his family out of this.

 

"No.. I'll just stay here and look at the rest of Travis' pictures" She smiled and looked at Travis, "c'mon show me the other pictures" she demanded. "Okay okay" Travis said and say down beside Lexi and continued to flick through the pictures.

 

Mark looked around the entrance. It was pretty kiddy for a hospital. All the magazines were either girly teen gossip magazines or medical magazines. "This is pretty dumb." He sighed to himself before a little girl walked up to him. "Hi mister. Why are you all alone?" Mark took a deep breath and replied. "Ummm my family's pretty busy." He lied. The girl nodded and handed him a small stuffed bear. "Here he'll keep you company." She said smiling before her mother came and led her out.

 

Mark could stand now so he stood outside of the hospital near the entrance. He knew it was wrong of him but he lighted up a cigarette anyway and started to smoke.

 

Mark leaned against the wall still continuing to smoke but stopped when a doctor walked out. "Hurry up man." He said under his breath trying his best to keep the doctor from noticing him. He hadn't been issued a bill yet and he planned the keep it that way.

 

Travis finished the slide show and turn back on the TV. "How did you like it?" he asked Lexi.
"It was great. I want to go to Hong Kong," She smiled.
"Well, with your dad i'm sure you'll get to go soon. Plus he trusts me too." He smiled.
It started to rain hard and lighting flashed in the night sky. Then thunder came roaring.
"AHH" Lexi screams as the lights of her house turned off.
"Calm down calm down" He reassured her. "It's the just the storm," and patted her back.
Lexi hugged him and tears were rolling down her eyes while more lighting and thunder came.
"You're still the same" He laughed. "Still afraid of almost everything"
"Whatever," She laughed and looked away. "we need to find candles. there should be some in the kitchen," She said getting up and going into the kitchen to get the candles.
Travis made sure all the doors were closed and locked just incase of anything.
Lexi started lighting a couple of candles.

 

Mark looked over at Alaric and stomped on the cigarette. "Hey bro!!" He said motioning to the dotor. "Ready to go." In the meantime he held the stuffed bear behind his back.

 

Mark shook his head and walked behind him. He sighed heavily. "Guess I'm not that good at driving without watching like I thought I was."

 

Mark quickly thought up a lie. "Umm I passed a hitchhiker and she flashed me." He laughed a bit after saying it.
