He gritted his teeth,he glanced at Lake"maybe we would have been better off outside...away from the nutjobs."

 

"Just ignore them Mickey..." Lake said quietly as she squeezed his hand supportively. "It's just how they are..."

 

"Yeah...I know."

 

Lake smiled slightly.

Once again,Mickey was disturbed in his sleep by the shrill of the phone ringing,Who called this early? then again It probably was that early..he was just too lazy to get up before 10."Rrrgh! Muuum! answer that will you? Tryna sleep!"

Lyra rolled her eyes in the stairs direction"Hello?"

"Mum?" said a hoarse voice on the other end


"Oh Maddie! "she said

 

Lake, who was trying to get changed from her pyjamas to her day clothes before Mickey woke up, scrambled quickly behind a wardrobe door in a skirt and a her bra. She's thought seeing as it was only 8:30am she'd be more then safe, damn that phone... she thought, a look of horror and embarrassment in her eyes.

"It's Maddie?" Immy exclaimed, peering around the back of the sofa.

 

"Lyra nodded

"Mum....we're back home..."


"Are you ok?"


"It would be better if you see..."


He sat up in bed,rubbing his face"Lake?"

 

There was a loud squeak as Lake realised she'd left the top she was planning on wearing in the middle of the floor. She cautiously peered around the door, her face almost completely pink. "Ye-Yeah...?"

Immy watched the side of the conversation that she could hear.

 

"What're you doin' in ther?"

"See?"she repeated,looking confused

 

"N-Nothing!" She squeaked pathetically, praying to whatever deity happened to be listening that Mickey wouldn't see her.

 

He raised is eyebrow"Im gonna go see who's responsible for waking me.....AGAIN."He said getting out of bed

 

"O-Okay!" Lake replied, hoping that he'd just go straight downstairs rather then picking up a dressing gown or getting dressed first.

 

he went into the hallway"MUUUM! WHO IS IT? CAN I BITE THEM?"


"Michael shush! Its Maddie...and put some clothes on!"

 

Lake dived out of her hiding place and grabbed her top from the floor.

 

"Maddie?" he repeated blankly

"Your sister...


Mum....bring....bring eveyone up to the Cullen's today...this cant wait any longer...I have to show you for you to understand why I cant do what Anthony's asking me too..."


"Maddie....? what's he asking you to do?"


Just.....you'll see."

 

Lake quickly pulled her top on, almost tearing the lace in her panic.
